Veronica I know the feeling. My only escape at 43 years of age being stuck in boring mundane maintenance jobs I finally bagged a job working on oil rigs and tanker ships working abroad on good, tax free salary. I’ve wanted to do this all my life rather than working on land going from one boring and land based job to another, so I’m going to grab it with Both hands and give it a go. Even if I don’t like it, at least I can say I’ve tried it and had the experience🙂👍🏼

I actually want to go and try to do fishing it looks really fun! it's a shame I'm in the UK and it wouldn't be like anywhere around where you are. But nonetheless, thank you for these amazing videos they have kept me very entertained and I've actually learnt a lot!! you really are great at what you do dude, thank you field days

Fishing is great I think everyone should try it I've been fishing since I was four years old and am now twenty seven and have tryed multiple different ways to fish from on the ocean to lakes and rivers heck we used to hand line for sucker fish in the summers as a teen ager when it was too hot to do anything else lol wouldn't trade it for any other skill ever that and hunting 😁 love seeing new people wanting to get outside and try something new hope you try it sooner than later dude 😁

Charley have you never done fishing? Mate you can do some good sea fishing i the U.K. I’ve done it loads of times but I fish lakes and rivers as I live in the midlands but at least once a year I’ll go down to Dorest and me & my mates will go sea fishing. Even if you’ve never done it before the fishing companies will send you out with a instructor who will show you what to do and how to fish. Then you can take back whatever you’ve caught if it’s edible the local sea food restaurants will gut the fish and cook it up for you to eat. Give it a try mate, last time I did it I caught a good size Pollock and Cod. I had a local fish monger gut and fillet the cod for me, took it back home the next day cooked it up with some olive oil, garlic and salt and had and had it in a curry i made myself. It was beautiful and I caught it myself. Save up some money and try it out one weekend, I guarantee you’ll love it👍🏼

@@canadianhunter94hexagonbus56 same here. I’ve been fishing since I was a kid and love it. I go sea fishing as well usually for Cod and Pollock here In the U.K which make a lovely feast and up in Scotland for the Salmon. Which are beautiful. Whatever we catch we take back to the hotel where we stay in the Highlands where the hotel chef will gut and filet the salmon for us and serve it up for tea. As then we do the south coast once a year for the cod. Been fishing since I was 6/7 years old and still going now at 44 and I love it. I’d love to go sea fishing in Australia because the sea is so plentiful out there, especially the mud crabs which just tastes well “oh my god” that’s all I can say. When I went to Australia we went up north to Queensland to Cairns and I tried mud crab for the first time. Honestly the meat is something else and just the claws alone hold enough meat for one person. So if you ever go to Australia please try the mud crab😛😋🦀👩‍🍳

You need a go pro under the boat, and that would be awesome for shark week! Since I know you know how to sail, you should get a rig for the boat to set a mast support in your poles stock holes. The sails should link to the mast but also work with eye holes and velcro as a tunnel cover for rougher seas, to allow wash over of break waves. Emergency power if you run out of fuel, or cover if you get caught in a storm, and act as a tent in loose tunnel configuration, with the mast supports. Mast should also be a chimney for a small portable cooker and heater.

Having a few extra anchors to help flip a boat alone, along with many floaters to prevent it from ever sinking if capsized, and help flip it. Attaching two side keels to work with a tiller. And all your equipment should be in sealed tackle boxes that magnet, lash, and toggle to welded magnetic plates along boat to assist in flotation in emergency. You should manage a raft with your stowed gear boxes, alongside a final small inflatable. Show use and function of great survival in any situation. But get a control boat to help film from. Shoot for some kickass sponsors: survival equipment: I am sure a flotation device or bouy marker exists for a lost boat motor, and the motor should be cable tied in, just incase it slips off.

A good idea when trolling and doing it with sharks on the reefs edge is to keep the boat in gear even speed up all little bit and point the boat away from the Reefs edge and take the fish off shore to fight... helps us in Florida to get that wahoo in the boat and away from the sharks... 🤙🤙🤙

But I haven't seen you catch and clean a shark in a survival situation. Maybe because they bite through anything. Either way... I'd like to see you eat a decent size shark instead of throwing them all back when it really depends on survival.

You’re making me want to move to Australia and learn how to do this stuff… as a person who lives inland US all I’ve got are ponds and creeks with tiny fish compared to the “small” ones you caught in this video!
