Great review MC! I like the blade shape and the micarta. Elmax is definitely a great steel. My Bark River Little Creek is elmax. I would love to own one of those!

Bought this for office carry (small, friendly looking) right before COVID hit... it’s a great little knife Also, Elmax is the shit. It’s just a hair less wear resistant than M390/204p but tougher and just as stainless

I didn't look into this knife until after I had received my Green Alu ace Iona. I think if I would have to pick one now I might have gone for the clyde, don't get me wrong. I LOVE the GM Ace Iona, but the way the blade fits in the scale on the clyde looks better to me.

Hey man are u still using ur ace Iona and if so how do u like it I just got the ace Iona with green aluminum handles and m390 stonewashed blade and I got the ace grand with green micarta handles and elmax steel love em both

I still use it in my EDC rotation, about 2 days every week at least :) I opened it and cleaned it up a bit from manufacturing defects (a few burrs and uneven lock interface) and now it works even better. For my hands it doesn’t get much better!

As long as you are an ACTIVE patron, you should have continuous access to the videos. But if you've dropped off, you won't be able to see them. Hope that helps!

Was your Clyde super stiff to open at first? I just recently received mine and its weirdly hard to open. I've loosened the pivot and it helps, but then I get blade play. I've even opened it up and lubed the washers too. That helped a little but the pivot is still just really stiff. Just wondering if there's something wrong with mine and I should return it, or this is just normal?

This one wasn't stiff but it had been owned and played with for a but before I had it. I'd give it a couple weeks. If it's still stiff then, I'd try and send it back

Happy Holidays, MC, and everybody out there. Still in the conceptual stages of a channel, but I would like to take a non-audio/visual shot at this. I have 3 origin knives. My sister, God rest her soul, got me a Duluth Trading POS folding knife about 20 years ago and I carried it with me daily for about 15 years. Partially for sentiment and partially because it was somewhat useful. Then about 3 years ago I got a Spyderco Chaparral and it blew my socks off. After getting that, I mentioned to my father that I wanted to get a 'high end' knife and he got me a Benchmade Griptilian in 20CV. And for a while, that was my grail knife. In this current moment, the knives that best define me are the Mordax, a copper Spider Monkey, and a Babby Angry Bear. As far as a future me, that is hard to say. I will say this, though. I think your comment on civil liberties is astute. And this is what I love about the Knife community; their love and acceptance for diversity and innovative thinking. I come from the gun community and I can say there is a dearth of acceptance and tolerance in the gun community. I have never been called a, and I shit you not, "race traitor" in the knife community. I have been called that in the gun community. And perhaps that is what I wish most for the future me; not a new grail knife, but a community in which civil liberty and acceptance is the expectation.

I had to get one, my favorite color is orange. It was sold out everywhere, but i found an unused one on ebay and paid $300 in my currency and ive almost sliced my thumb off 3 times from trying to get flicking it open down, and the thumb stud does dig a lot but it was worth it. My new fave knife.
