I have been watching This is Livin since day one. Koa's surfing is getting better and better. Your backside turns are actually insane. Eli's surfing is also insane. He is showing he is back in the NS after a year off!

@@kent_kast they've already announced that they hope to hold another this winter, they are anticipating another season with conditions favorable for the eddie. They just don't hold the event unless conditions are right, if the conditions were right they would hold it every year. EDIT: not that I think you needed to be educated, just providing context for anyone else who reads the comments

Everyone here is the Elite of the elite and no dis respect to anyone but John John just Surfs with a different speed and smoothness than anyone I’ve seen. Anyway we can get drone video of the lineup trying to catch a wave from above instead of in front like most videos are? Just interested in the positioning of surfers and who takes the wave etc thanks boyz

Another epic video! The drone footage was awesome and it was good to see Nate without the camera in his mouth so he could enjoy himself! Quit trying to do airs and 360's Koa. You are a phenomenal surfer without having to do the kid tricks. :)

I can't speak for Koa, but personally I find futures fins and boxes are much stronger. I make boards also, and futures is nicer in terms of installation imho. I have never damaged a futures setup in any of my boards, but was constantly dealing with ripped out plugs or broken tabs with old FCS. FCS2 is better than the original but still lots of people drop fins and/or tear out boxes from dinging rocks at our point breaks.
