der song als abschlussong bei dem konzert war jedes mal das beste für mich. obwohl der song nicht mein lieblings giant rooks song ist, ist er trotzdem total speziel und wichtig für mich. und wenn die den song so ausklingen lassen beim konzert, dann ist das einfach so verdammt schön. jedes mal haut mich das einfach extrems um live.

So I’m trying to analyze this song. Not the music video but just the lyrics. I’m most likely wrong but this is what I took from it. Someone he cares about is mentally unstable. He briefly mentions a hospital, which leads me to think the person he is talking about is in a mental ward. He wants to be there for them, but the situation is sending him into a mania of his own. He can’t be a “cornerstone” for them because he himself is a “Crumbling stone” meaning the relationship or situation is too damaging for him to handle and support them through it. He has been worrying about them “you are still on my mind. I’m sure you’ll get through this time. I’m sure you’ll be alright” He is trying to stay positive for them but he’s not sure how he can manage to keep himself in check and be there for them. Hence, “How can I stay close? By your side, By your side, By your side” He wants to be there for them but just can’t. I believe the person he is talking about regularly has manic episodes and is in desperate need of help but he can’t handle it anymore. or This could be about a toxic relationship (romantic or platonic) that he is scared to leave because he loves them too much but it’s tearing him apart. I like the first one better though.

This is beautiful. I can work out the lyrics; I wish I better understood the video, which seems to be about the frustrations of the artistic process of making a film - models complaining and maybe resisting directions, differences in artistic visions, logistical problems, philosophical questions. The windows moving in rapid succession, like so many sequential perspectives.
