You made a good video but you missed answering one of the 5 W's - the WHERE. Where did you launch from (Bay City State Park, Linwood, Pinconning, etc.)? And how far out were you? We as fisherman (when watching fishing shows) like to hear this. Fred Trost was great at doing this. We knew all the details of his excursions and he made his shows extremely interesting because of his talent. Next time you visit here you should consider providing the viewer with some upfront detail to complete the 5W's checklist. You can promote your show as well as the Saginaw Bay Region.

I’ve lived in Michigan my entire life and I’ve never even been to the Bay. I’ve heard some good things though. I’m in Clare County. Lots of little lakes with big panfish is more my style. Also, I’m a solo angler 99% of the time and I don’t want to trek the Bay alone 😳.

Jim Samples Yeah, I’ve been told by quite a few seasoned Bay anglers that new people really should be with someone that knows the bay pretty well because it can be so unpredictable and it’s massive. I’d love to go one of these days though but I’m sure how far I’d get in my Mucks lol.

Check out Saginaw Bay Michigan Fishing Facebook page. There’s all kinds of great info about where and how along with many people that are like you that don’t want to travel alone. Also early and late ice is doable on foot for great walleye. Perch are accessible on foot also. Good luck!

Great show that walleye PJ pulled up was a hog. Thanks for the show. I have a question on your Gopro Hero 7 that James was using. I have one and like it a lot.But if the temp is lower than 20 it doesn't work that well. Do you have issues with it freezing up if temps are lower than 20 ?

@@kdsberman not sure who is telling you to buy a fan cooled sled for ice fishing but that is LITERALLY the exact opposite of the correct information. It is the fan cooled sleds that over heat, not the liquid cooled.
