We used to have a therapy dog come visit when I was working on a dementia ward as a junior doctor. Used to joke that it was there for the stressed staff not the patients. You could always find a way to be on the ward at those times and not rushing through the hospital! Of course, the patients adored her.

I have that type of dog and she always cheers me up when I'm down and she always stays with me she's so nice
