The New York Giants are preparing for the 2024 NFL season and rumor has it that Giants tight end Daniel Bellinger could be on the chopping block. As the countdown to training camp begins for the NFL and the Giants, NFL reporter Connor Hughes believes that former 4th round pick in the 2022 NFL Draft, Daniel Bellinger, could be left off the 53-man roster. More news and rumors out of New York include wide receiver Malik Nabers calling out Dallas Cowboys cornerback Trevon Diggs, who promptly clapped back on Twitter. Will this beef be settled off the field, or will we have to wait until the 2024 NFL season for this to be settled on the field as the New York Giants take on the Dallas Cowboys on Thursday night football on Sept. 26th.

Any talks of cutting Bellinger at this point should be seriously ignored. He was doing very well before the eye injury set him back. He is just getting used to the visor and the Giants need to keep working with him.

How about giving him a chance as he is only 23 years old and a Junior in the NFL? That's two seasons in the NFL and now going into his third. This is a rebuild and the young man has barely gotten his beak wet.

@@davissinclair4945 because a lot of giants fans fall into a false sense of hype for a player who shows no sign of worthy hype. Look at laporta, his first season he had 9 games of 5 or more catches and 8 games with 50 or more yards. How about waller who was an actual flop for the giants , had 6 games with 5 or more catches and 4 games of 50+ yards. Bellingers 2 seasons combined aren't close to either of those 2 i mentioned. I hope he could somehow turn it around and prove me wrong, but just watching him play, and now including the fact he is already apparently injured shows very small sign of hope for him

@@Burzum831I'm going to slow down on any judgements right now. This is the team that hasn't given up on Daniel Jones after 6 years. I'm certainly not giving up on Daniel Bellinger after just two years. The same crowd want to dump Eric Gray after his rookie season. This is a rebuild. Patience is key as the roster is turning over. It doesn't make sense to even thing about Daniel Bellinger as a cut candidate. It's foolish thinking.

@@davissinclair4945 I’m just tired of sub mediocrity this team continuously puts out. All the players you just mentioned have severely underperformed so far. Gray hasn’t really had a chance but I haven’t liked what I’ve seen so far. Should have moved on from dj a while ago and Bellinger is just a mediocre te who isn’t going to elevate this team unless he makes a drastic change. As I said, 2 seasons and not once has he been over 50 yards. If he hasn’t panned out so far, and he is falling in the depth chart to other te we have this off-season and is constantly injured then why waste a roster spot? I don’t think he will be cut but I wouldn’t be mad if he was. Sticking with players like this don’t help a rebuild, it will keep you in it.

Bellinger falling down the depth chart is the most discouraging rumor I heard so far this offseason. I’m a fan of him and I think he’s a gamer. It would also reflect poorly on Joe Scheon since he drafted him. Although Johnson looks like a promising young TE I think competition between him and Bellinger would be great. I hope this is just the coaching staff trying to see what the other new TEs can bring to the table

Pure fantasy. Arguably the most lopsided hypothetical trade proposal I've ever seen. Mark Andrews is a top 5, arguably top 3 tight end in football. A cornerstone of the Ravens. Giants would need to give up someone like Kayvon Thibodeaux AND multiple day 2 picks to even warrant a conversation for a guy of Mark Andrew's caliber.

@@stevenarce005 LOL-as if my comments were about Waller. Waller has never been known for his inline blocking skills. The conversation is actually about BELLINGER, who indeed had a disappointing year. However, I believe that the reports of him being released are premature. To get back to the point, my remarks concern BELLINGER, not Waller. BELLINGER is a talent who took a step back and the guys they signed are one-dimensional blockers. Either Bellinger steps up or Theo takes over.

Then the other 20 other TEs we signed can be the blockers as well sometimes bellinger. That’s why I’m saying he took a step back because he’s reps of blocking went up so he loss more reps than normal.

These reps mean nothing for bellinger the coaches want to see what they have with the vet minimum guys & the rookie. Theo Johnson needs these reps more than bellinger, doesn’t mean he’s TE1. We should already know what bellinger brings to the table, stoll,manhertz & cager they are cut candidates then bellinger the coaches need to see what they bring going into camp & they are still trying to figure out the offense so why would the coaches make bellinger take the bulk of the reps We are keeping 3-4 TEs 2 are locks the others are fighting for the last spot 💯
