You decide - was Giants Causeway in Northern Ireland made by science, or giants? Our UK tour and travel vlog with Rabbies is...⬇ Click 'Show More' ✈ Learn to travel full-time: bit.ly/2PjaPey
Another awesome day exploring Northern Ireland with Rabbies in this travel vlog. Today we check out Giants Causeway, arguably the main attraction in Northern Ireland and one of the more well known attractions in Ireland as a whole no doubt.
Giants Causeway has some interesting stories, which fits perfectly with our mission around the UK to find some of the most interesting myths and legends. This is nearing the end of our trips with Rabbies and our time in Europe and the UK, but definitely one of our favourite travel days and vlogs to film in a long time.
Enjoy!
Rabbies is an award winning small tours company that operate in the UK - 16 seater buses, driver and guide and a load of epic locations to visit. While this is a paid partnership all opinions are our own, as always. We hand pick our partnerships to ensure we keep things real and honest throughout - we genuinely loved our tour and recommend you check out all the tours Rabbies offers here - bit.ly/2OCzRJQ

As an Irish man I watched your video about Gdansk (I'm going in april) which then lead me to here. Lol. That wee town were you stopped is called carnlough. My family has had a caravan there for 30 years. Was just brilliant seeing people enjoy it as much as my family and now my kids do also. Lovin the video's great work. 👌

This is the second video I've watched from Daneger and Stacey in relation to Northern Ireland, the place where I live. They are a truly delightful couple and have presented Northern Ireland very well. I live just 30 minutes from Bangor and I would have been delighted to treat them to dinner in a fine restaurant had I known they were here. I've visited the Giant's Causeway many times since I was a child. It now comes under the stewardship of the National trust. They built a visitor's centre at the Causeway and charge people £12.50 for entrance. However, access to the Causeway is free because it's a natural wonder and belongs to everyone. If you visit don't be conned by the National Trust who tend to make you believe that the only access is via their Visitor Centre. Access to the Causeway is free so avoid the Visitor Centre. The strange basalt rock formations occurred 60 million years ago when lava flowed into the ocean and when cooling formed these amazing shapes. The formation can also be found in Fingal's Cave, a remote Scottish Western Island. Mendelson, the great composer wrote an orchestral piece entitled Fingal's Cave and the music is just heavenly.

Two interesting facts: 1 - Sons of Anarchy season 3 was filmed along that route and 2 - Giant's Causeway was a backdrop for the Led Zeppelin's House of the Holy album cover

Giants Causeway has to be the work of Finn McCool! I really liked the way you built up the approach to the Giants Causeway, like a gradual reveal. Worked really well. Also loved the shot of the swirling grass at 5:17 - great work as always!

Hi Danegar and Stacey, I am quite captivated by your vlogs and thoroughly enjoy your commentaries. I stumbled upon your site as I have been researching Ireland, N. Ireland and Edinburgh having planned a trip for June this year (2019). Needless to say, on a personal note, I admire your sensitivities to pronunciations of places as well as historical accuracy. That's so important when you are a guest in another country--and I believe more travelers need to be cognizant of that. Well done to the both of you. Best regards (from Canada), Darryl

Hey Darryl - thanks for that comment, really means a lot! Glad you've been enjoying. Northern Ireland was a great spot. If you want to take the ease off traveling, the trips we did with Rabbies in both England and Ireland were both amazing and made things so much easier. We're taking another with them in Scotland this year. Either way - have an amazing trip when you do get there.
