This is some of the street photography I did (April , 2024) well visiting Victoria BC. it is mostly shots around old town in the vicinity of Yates Street. I built the film project on a piece of music I wrote just before the trip which I called Gibberish Street. Thus the title.
I stepped back from doing a Stillm project with it as it felt unnatural to photograph in a rapid manner as I normally would do. Curiously enough there seems to be a different attitude on the street and it just didn't feel appropriate to acquire photographs that I could animate. But it was also nice to step back and do more traditional street photography with candid shots. Although I still felt inclined to have a few laughs with people after the candid shot.
