Horizontal Panelsaws have several switches and sensor to prevent the accidental collision of mechanical components, but on occasion, these protections fail and a collision occurs.
This is part 2 of a repair to a Giben Smart Series Panelsaw that experienced a collision between the end of the panel, and the Side Aligner. In this instance, the material length was not correct, and the machine pulled the material beyond the Side Aligner, and allowed the Side Aligner to be in front of the panel.
The rest is history.
