Hey everyone, welcome back to my vlog! Today, we're venturing to a place unlike any other in Europe - Gibraltar, home to the one and only wild monkey population on the entire continent: the Barbary macaques! These cheeky fellas, also known as Apes' Den residents (cue monkey puns!), are actually an endangered species. But unlike their wild cousins in North Africa whose numbers are dwindling, the Barbary macaques here in Gibraltar are thriving. There are around 300 of them, living in social groups called troops. These monkeys are celebrities here. They're a major tourist attraction

This is Gibraltar or Jebl al Tariq , it was established by Muslims (not occupied like Indians doing in Kashmir). Tariq bin Ziyad landed by invitation from locals who were tired of local tyrant King Roderick. Famously, Tariq bin Ziyad burnt all his ships upon landing to discourage any soldier from running back from battlefield.
