Gibraltar is a tiny British overseas territory located on the southernmost tip of the Iberian peninsula right next to Spain, and known as “the Rock”. Gibraltar is a melting pot of Spanish, North African and English cultures.
The best time to visit Gibraltar is between May and October, the hottest month of the year in Gibraltar is August, when the mercury stays above 28°C.

Its better than a typical English town as the high street aka Main Street is vibrant and full of shops and people - not a single unit stands empty. Whereas in the UK these days the average town centre is mostly empty boarded up shop units with To Let signs, charity shops, mobile phone accessories and repair shops and plenty of overpriced coffee chain shops. All rather depressing.

How lovely! We were there early February this year and it was the highlight of our week. Took a tour up to the caves and the glass viewing platform and saw the monkeys, Amazing! The war tunnels were closed unfortunately due to the heavy downpour the day before. Love this place, happily go back again.

Hey nice video mate 😃👍 one question ive been trying to get a hold of Gibraltar pounds, are they only available in Gibraltar or does FOREX exchange them, cant seem to find them anywhere ? 😭 Thanks.

The exchange shops will accept them, but they will give you about 4% less than normal Pounds. So I assume they will also sell them. Thanks for watching!

As a born and bread Gibraltarian, I can tell you that Gibraltar is not exactly the same as Britain. It has similarities, mixed with Italian, Spanish and other Mediterranean influences. We have British influences of course, but our fusion of Mediterranean cultures and style, Genoese architecture in the old town which included Main Street, our gastronomy, way of life etc etc has made it our own and even better. And a lot Better climate too ☀️☀️
