Those Jericho guitars are made in world 🌎 factory Indonesia, same factory the Dean guitars are built in. That's probably why given what Gibson did to Dean Gibson is doing this to Jericho, the guitars are the same, same ebony fretboard, same Seymour Duncan's same flat necks with gloss finish everywhere else, same Dean guitars.

Next thing you know they'll be REQUIRING Licensing for Guitar/Music Lessons.I remember my late wife loved Hells Kitchen. On one show some guy was upset with his food. He was taken aback when Gordon Ramsey told him, in own loving way "Piss Off"(or another friendly diatribe). The guy started yelling "I have a Doctorate in Music!!!!" My wife looked at me & said "What you tell "the Doctor"? I said "I'd ask him if he could write me a prescription for a book of Blank Staffs!" She actually laughed (She rarely laughed at my jokes. BUT She GOT IT!!!!)

20:30 - the thing I “liked“ about this story is that he wasn’t initially a thief. He was a customer who was offensive to the staff in the drum department (okay as a drummer, I know that’s a fairly regular occurrence!) But he was actually being thrown out JUST for that, and he intended to vandalise the guitar that he just grabbed on the way, not intending on stealing and so the staff were well within their rights to call the police and harming this “man’s” life by giving him a criminal record (if he didn’t already have one?!), But instead, they just threw him out yet if this clip had not become so prevalent on the Internet, and on its way to becoming a meme, even- I’m sure the “victim” would’ve filed suit against the shop!! such is the world we live in these days

What I understand about that Guitar Center incident, is that the guy being "evicted" from the store, didn't happened because of thievery. He actually attacked a GC employee in the drum section of the store. He only grabbed the acoustic on the way out. Either way, kcuf that guy! As far as I'm concerned, that POS got off easy. That GC employee could have really messed that guy up... Props to that GC employee for "handling" it! Anyway, I'm really happy you brought back SPF, Brad. I worked at a major book chain and we had undercover "loss prevention" guys and I once witnessed one of them blindside tackle a guy trying to steal graphic novels. They called the law on everyone they caught, surprised those guys didn't.

1- Mic sounds great- nothing but love for ribbon mics. Have several myself and they get used constantly in my studio. 2- the human race has devolved into nothing more than the scummy layer that sits on top the sewer pond 3- Neil Young and his like is the sewer pond. Howard Stern is one of the “likes”. 4- Gibson should worry more about their QC. Bought 3 of the new 50’s and 60’s series over the last couple years and each one has issues. True story: A friend of mine, from Thunder Bay Canada, who's father owned the local music store there would help out the local musicians by giving them credit on instruments or what ever to help them get started. Neil (who lived in TB at the time) came to the store desperately needing guitar strings so as usual Mr. A helped him out and gave a couple packs of string ($25 at the time)... Neil was the only one to never come back and payback... that's Neil. He is well known for using and dumping people when he no longer needs them.

@@TheGuitologist yes, she’s gate keeping her “profession” but also looking for a way to command more for her service which also hurts music therapy as it will lead to rising costs for sessions. Eventually they can become like doctors and the services may be out of reach financially for someone who may benefit from it because they don’t have the right insurance plan. So in the long run it may benefit her financially, it will also, like you said in the video, stop others who actually have some musical talent from being able to help people because they can’t get the license for whatever reason.

The guy thrown out at GC wasn’t a thief. He physically attacked an employee in the drum dept, and that’s why he was being bounced from the store. He grabbed the acoustic on the way out. Two questionable observations. 1 - Why weren’t the police called and this guy detained until they arrived due to the battery and later property damage he committed? 2 - The last shot of the video I saw from outside of the guy laying motionless in front of the store, as though mentally defeated, with his shoe being tossed out the door towards his still body was like something out of a cartoon or sitcom. This guy went from 60 to 0, requiring martial arts to move him across the store and control his guitar grabbing and swinging rage to a “defeated stillness” out front as the staff goes back to their routines and on with their day. Why didn’t this rage filled guy just pop back up and keep going unless injured, and if injured why weren’t the authorities and rescue called? Something’s off with that whole scene.

I fully agree that Gibson is evil, but in my opinion that Explorer does infringe on Gibson's design. I really hope that Gibson's win gets overturned in another district, but in my opinion that guitar actually should represent an infringement. Personally I'm done with Gibson - I was looking to purchase my second when they turned to trademark trollery - but that doesn't mean that they don't have some actual infringements, such as Dean selling a Hummingbird acoustic when Gibson's already selling a Hummingbird acoustic. Nonetheless I'll never buy another Gibson empire product, even used. And it's hilarious that the channel calling them out is Blues Lawyer. I guess Gibson's other big support channel, Blues Dentist, got scooped.

Brad, actually the guy wasn't a guitar thief. He had assaulted a worker in the percussion department and grabbed the guitar to probably nail the dude throwing him out. You can see him grab the guitar while being thrown out. Glad he got his a$$ thrown out! Need more workers like him to protect other employees. 🔥🎸🔥
