The Gibson Les Paul and the SG are 2 of my favourite styles of guitar. However, I have never really compared them closely, so over a 3 part series with different amps - Lazy J J10, 1967 Fender Vibrolux, Rift Aynsley Lister - I'll have a think about the differences and if I prefer one over the other.
This Lazy J J10 is brand new - received 5 minutes before filming this. The two volume controls are interactive and really give a great variety of tones. For this video I play in the Bright channel and have the standard volume cranked - this chokes the tone a bit and gives a really interesting character.
Thanks for watching!
