"Gideon's Way" aka "Gideon's C.I.D." Season 1, Episode 9. Air Date November 24, 1964. Plot/ Summary - A series of warehouse robberies are led by a creepy albino mastermind who is obsessed over a pet rat. After a night watchman is killed during a heist, one of C.I.D.'s veteran detectives suspects and then goes after him, with violent results.
Starring, John Gregson, Alexander Davion, and Daphne Anderson. With co-stars, Virginia Maskell, Ray McAnally, Dermot Kelly, David Davies, Sue Lloyd, David Gregory, Michael Wynne, Ian Rossiter, Roy Hanlon, John Horsley, Maggie Wright, and Richard Beale. Directed by Roy Ward Baker.

Thank you to Virginia Maskell. This is great old stuff , redolent of the far better times in life and quality of a television series. Simple , plain and with a purpose ….. to entertain but so too , support the values of the time , all of which have been destroyed by the simple LACK of values today . Imo.

She sadly died in 1968, enjoyed her performance in the episode, Syd Taylor also.

This series is great thank you very much. Absolutely love the cars, and that e type jag, never knew it had an access door at the back to get into the cari you can tell İ have never had one, sadly.

What happened to the poor little White Rat ? I would have scooped him up gently and gave him to a copper with the instructions..." look after him".. but GREAT episode, full of tension.

13:30 and they are all dead in real life, Sue Lloyd was in Crossroads as Barbara Hunter, David Hunter’s wife, Ronald Allen who played David Hunter had also died.
