What we love is seeing different parts of Austrailia, the fish, animals , plants, geology, geography and the adventures that you come upon, whether simple, plain, dangerous, or odd, we love your videos Gido; it is a refreshing break from the insanity that seems to have befallen most of the civilized world.

This is Western Australia 4000klm from the East coast , the lands diverse a lot , if you go north of where i am on the east coast it gets very tropical to the north where Gido is on the west coast it gets very deserlate . We are strewn with Kangaroo , wild dogs and cats , donkey and camels . Crocodile are no longer shot for the meat and there skins so they are big and high numbers too . Aus is a great place but politicly like many other countries not so. We are as big as the usa but with only 26million people so the place is not polluted with so few people and vast lands with a limited road system compared to EU and America . I am born and bred here age 70 now . 🙂. Glad you like the place👍

Mate, whether it's a giant groper, a snapper, a flattie or a herring, the excitement of the hook up can be just the same. The lighter stuff is so relatable for a large part of your audience that it might pay to drop in a few of these vids regularly. It's your whole attitude to the fishing and the environment you do it in that gets the viewers hooked. Keep up the good work mate.

I think people like seeing your creations as you envisioned them. That genuine ride-along feeling is what makes your videos so likeable. The idea of "this is who I am and what I do so come along" is refreshing in opposition to this is me trying to get the most views. I know that you can make $ from these for your beautiful family and I don't blame you for trying to meet the market demand. That said, what I love most about your videos is you having an adventure. I will keep watching no matter what videos you make. In fact I loved the episode of you and your kids. Having a 6 year old daughter I connected to the family aspect.

Gido, really liked this trip for the variety; no grouper, Harlies, no break sea cod. Light tackle and different style. Really enjoyable. And of course the most beautiful coastline that I could watch all day. Thanks. PS if this means more frequent videos from you another reason I’m all for it.

Maaaaate! You produce the most wonderful content. Thanks for your efforts. Hope you keep goin for a long time . And yes - it would be good to see you do all sorts of adventures. I can only speak for one viewer but I don't need the big cliff climbs to make it entertaining for me. Sometimes the bread and butter fishing is just as interesting. Maybe because we all do it and we all come from different places.

Ya know, Gido, most of my fishing trips as well as others in the States are for a day only. I recall maybe once or twice when I was a whole lot younger that I stayed over night at the fishing site. I just go for the day 'cause my wife would disown me if I stayed out overnight . Anyway, I like your day trips because you are more determined to catch something and eat it for a shore lunch. Whatever is easy is fine with me. I really like your photography as it is part of the trip, too.

Hey Gido - As you were rock hopping I thought to myself, how amazing each and every video you post are of the most surreal and achingly beautiful venues. Being native to the South Coast of the UK fanatical about lure fishing, most of the water available to me within sensible travel are either shingle beaches or mud harbour/ estuaries, not to mention limitations on target species (anything that will pick up a lure and time of year - realistically late march to November!!). Whether you're recharging your mojo, something every angler goes through, or doing something completely nuts.. for me, every video is as enjoyable as the next. Keep doing what brings you the most amount of enjoyment/ satisfaction and I'll keep watching on with the utmost awe and jealousy!

Fun outing, that is for sure. I always chuckle at the "well I wont keep it now" approach to a survival outing. I say, don't look a gift horse in the mouth, later could have been sooner for the rains and then you'd have a long hungry night. It was a very strange moment to see you on the beach grass though. Here about's the beach grass is off limits for walking on let alone camping on (regulated and posted where I live, and across the border in the US there are states where its straight up legally protected).

That was a lovely, relaxing and most thoroughly enjoyable journey with you, Gido. Thank you. Would you please be able to accommodate an oldish bloke's dear wish to revisit a spot of astounding beauty and great fishing? My dad and I used to walk to a spot called Sharp Point, to the east of Salmon Holes. It's a bit of a haul and I know I'll never get there again with 2 knee replacements but all the way along the beach to that point, we would catch up to 10 different species. At Sharp Point itself, you can catch almost anything, including BF Tuna, BG's, Pink Snapper and even Dhufish. Be very careful of the goat track leading to it, as it is treacherous. Make me happy to go back 50 years. Thanks Gido
