I hope you include your mom more often, her body shape is very common and hard to style so seeing the transformation is so helpful for many of us! All outfits were modest and classy and many people don’t include modesty in transforming a dated look into modern, yet you do so effortlessly. Thanks for such great content.

i agree. i wish all women with similar shape who are struggling saw this. it's really inspiring and amazing to see what these little changes can do. (i say this as a woman with a similar shape who in the past couple of years went from a US4 to US14 :)

Yes! Yes! Yes! She can and she should! I wonder if she'd prefer the older style denim fabric that has very little stretch. I much prefer the sturdiness of it.

Shorter tops and tucked in tops helps a lot, jeans are fine with these tops. She is tall enough to wear the longer skirt line well! Yeah to mom for being a good sport!

Lovely surprise; I loved seeing your mom here! As always, useful tips for everybody. The #3, adding a tailored piece, creates such a chic look. And also #8, avoiding shining pieces, as fabrics make a huge difference in the look. And that color suits her beautifully. Also, the ending, where you quickly showed the changes was great. Wow, your Mom looks great in all of the changes made - what a difference the changes made to the belly area. I have the same issue and these were great tips. Now, about the jeans. Your Mom looks good in the jeans and I think it comes down to how she "feels" in them. When I started following you, I got rid of the two pair of jeans I had. I felt like I felt more myself in other trousers and dresses. I think, when I lose weight, I will feel more comfortable in jeans. Great video. Love your Mom!

Please try. 😉 I have very visible veins on my legs (blue, and varicose). I don't think the general public needs to see them; so I don't wear shorts outside the house anymore. 3/4 length is about the shortest I would go. 😞 Styling help would be much appreciated. 🤷

Hello, I wanted to thank you and specially MOM! I have heard some of your tip before but on a different model. I don't know how tall your mom is but I have a similar body shape, age and only 4'11". Mom and I also have similar clothes, This video helps so much!!! I was thinking of getting a shiny dress, so glad to see this before purchasing. Now I understand why some of my clothes are so pretty but I don't wear because they don't look right. Just I will be decluttering lots of texture tops.

I did prefer mum in the white tee with the jeans. She looked comfortable and relaxed. Seeing the crotch area with a belly was my prob for a long time and not even shouldrr pads could hide them!

Honestly I'm not a fan of jeans for myself, so I like the most how it looks with tailored pants, and also with skirts - looks rly good. I think a long A silhouette dress would also look great with accessories too.

Sometimes the aversion to jeans has something to do with having lived in a time when jeans were (thought to be) a sign of rebellion and hooliganism and such. And thoughts like that are difficult to leave behind. She certainly looks good in jeans! 😊 But if she's not (emotionally) comfortable wearing them, no big deal. 😉 One of my great-aunts was a very stylish lady who never wore denim in all her life; though I'm sure she could have carried the look if she had chosen. 😊

Lastly, I'm not sure what to think about that jacket only buttoned at the very top; creating an inverted *V* for the opening. I think it works here; but I think it might look like the belly is too big for the jacket to close. That's how i personally feel if I attempt that. Cute when heavily pregnant; but I'm not expecting but have a "mommy tummy" left over. It seems to me it's drawing attention to what I should like to hide... 🤔

Good thought here! Well I think it would have created this effect if the bottom piece was in contrasting color. Since the top and bottom pieces are tonal the eye travels upwards and the top button becomes a focal point, I think therefore it works here 👯
