Wow, lovely. I am so excited to see the final result, a glimmering GIFT City. Just like Gurgaon, GIFT City will also become a big industrial hub. Unfortunately, my city, Kolkata is lagging behind other cities which were built after Kolkata. Once upon a time, Kolkata was the most important city in India, but now, no one even thinks about Kolkata. But other Indian cities are growing drastically, which is a very good sign.

And politics toh bohot zyada hai... Main Kolkata mein rehta hu isliye pata hai, baki shehere jo kolkata ke baad bane hai, wo kolkata se abhi aage hai... Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, especially Gurgaon kitna aage hai! Delhi mein 2003 se 2018 tak metro ke 10 lines ban gaye, par kolkata mein 1 line banane ke liye 9 saal lag gaye... Kya hi bataye 😔 Isliye main India nahi chhodna chahta, par kolkata chhodna hi padega, yaha youths ki koi life nahi hai...

Damm slow progress. Focus is missing from center. Things should not end after innaguragation. After 9 years only 10 towers !

yes.progress is slow but what i think is india is working on so many mega projects right now,be it highest rail bridge or other expressways or constructing bridges on sea or working on bullet train projects or constructing border roads in ladakh and so many huge infrastucture projects.so great things takes time.

Currently 7 commercial towers are underconstruction. Another 8 commercial towers are about to start construction. Currently 2 residential towers are under construction and another 7 are about to start construction. Metro work is currently going on and work on the river front and Samruddhi sarovar is about to start. GIFT is progressing way faster than BKC Mumbai ever did. Also remember that it took 20 years for Canary Wharf in London to become how it is today.

Progress and occupancy will be too slow because of the lack of investment and willingness of the companies to settle in Gujarat. Any company would to choose Gurugram, Noida, Hyd or Blr over GIFT because there is no metropolitan culture here.

yes i agree with you about metropolitan culture, and there are some reasons behind the FDI and it can increase in future,once the city will be fully operational then it can attract more investors. and one of the biggest pros in investing in gujarat is its political stability.no other states can be that sure about that.and by creating SEZs and by luanching other schemes that can attract investors from all over the world.so hope for the best.

Current indian government doing fantastic job towards development of roads railways air water ways energy and defence sector. Faster transportation is key for agriculture tourism logistics industries and defence sector New INDIA 2.0

@@mohitthakkar8362 A state doesn't become rich alone, a region get rich at a time. If u leave north bengal then south bengal near Kolkata is decently rich filled with many businesses. Our biggest problem is for so long all of our neighbours are dart poor state and country. Recently West Bengal gdp growth has accelerated due to rise of Bangladesh economy. U guys can't understand how privileged u are as ur neighbouring state Mumbai and NCR region is so rich. So it is unwise to compare Gujarat with West Bengal.(FYI bihar gdp per capita is 500, if it were a country it would be 3rd poorest county in Earth)

dholera has nothing to see right now.there are only roads and 1 building in the city,it will take lot of time to build dholera.

Dholera not much building right now I am visited in dholera the land acquisition work is completed Roads and wiring underground also completed in many areas and artificial river also completed But there is nothing to show in this

I think development does not depend on building Height. There should be proper Infrastructure, huge investment, Cleanliness , Greenery. In simple easy to living.

@@akashbose9253 Building tall 80 storey buildings is a waste. Most of Dubai's skyscrapers are empty. Tall buildings like Burj Khalifa and Shanghai Financnial tower were failure projects. GIFT City will also build tall buildings like Diamond Tower but only after 2027 when Dholera International Airport becomes operational because currently AAI is not giving permission to build higher than 120 metres because of proximity to Ahmedabad Airport

Bhai sirf buildings nahi. Ek city banane mein Kam se Kam 20 lagta hein. Shanghai ko bhi 30 laga iss Tarah banne me. Toh sabhar rakho. Kyuki sabhr ka phal meetha hota hein.

The very location of gift city is the reason for its failure. This should have been build in mumbai or noida area or Bangalore. The government literally had to give extremely attractive incentives just to attract investments and still companies dont prefer this place. I am so fed up with the government attitude of building anything anywhere without any thought. Main cities are expanding unplanned and they are making a city in the middle of nowhere. Same complain with jewar airport. Its like cities away from delhi in middle of nowhere. Like who even thought of building an airport in such a remote location.

have some patience. why everything should be in mumbai? or delhi or bangluru? government is already working on gift city. gift is near by airport,direct metro connectivity, everything is there...i dont know why you always oppose the gov. and who said its a failure.? its under construction. and it is going to be one of the best tech city.
