On its own, siopao is delicious...a dumpling which may contain asado or adobo. It is eaten with a sauce. It,s dough is similar to puto and is cooked in the same way - steaming. Mama Olga is right. We do have pandesal with minced meat inside (asado pandesal). Traditionally we eat pandesal with cocojam, but now, with butter, jam, cheese, any spread available, or even adobo. Also, Mr Masarap is now Chef Masarap 😂

I love your Mom expression when she eats something she enjoys! You need to let the pandesal roll rise longer so they are more airy and stick together side by side. So, when you pull them apart they will be much softer on the side and no skin on the bun except the ones at the ends.
