For those who will read the comments, gotta let Nelson know that I think he has a point. The eldrazi from that set and a bunch of those colorless cards are genuinely some of the coolest cards in magic. I overlooked them for a long time and have been slowly rediscovering them over time. Nelson is so brave, and so very admired.

I remember when the original eldrazi dropped. I think that set was 2008. I had other stuff going on but years later have gone back and looked.

I think the ingest/processor idea is incredibly cool. The idea of a new alternative resource, and one that synergizes out-of-set with other exile mechanics, is a great design. It just sucks that all the processors were so meh to unplayable outside of draft.

It's fine; there were a bunch of stuff missed this game. We get it. Commander is complex. Nobody gets everything. Doesn't make y'all less fun to watch.

[Heavy breathing] How *DARE* you make a single game error in a notoriously complex format of an already complicated card game while you and your wonderful co-workers were making cheerful videos for us to enjoy over the holidays. I definitely noticed this error and wasn't distracted by all the charming banter. I certainly won't be continuing to enjoy and support the Loading Ready Run network any longer! I know from experience how hard that deck can be to keep track of. So many triggers. Making mistakes with it is completely understandable.

Bonus points if she is in the game already. She is sitting on 1 side of the table, but then she comes up from the other side to give a lore dump before slinking under the table again. Bonus bonus points if she is wearing something different so it looks like a separate Kathleen and not that she just crawled under the table.

I love how wheeler just completely missed the "draw a card if you are on step 2 or more of the ring when frodo attacks" line. And I'm not talking about the loot you get from the ring trigger. Frodo himself draws you an additional card when he attacks if you are on step 2 or more. So he should be draw 2 discard 1 when he attacks

In fact it's funny on level 2 of the ring you actually are just supposed to draw, you don't get to loot.

@@irreleverentlevel two of the ring definitely says "Whenever your Ring-bearer attacks, draw a card, then discard a card." And Frodo's ability stacks with it to draw you a second card if he is the ring bearer.

@FineOtter at the time the Attack is declared, Wheeler had only been tempted once so the loot trigger is missed. He should have just drawn instead of looted. Tempt Count: 0 Frodo Attack 1 > Get tempted Tempt Count: 1 Frodo Attack 2 > Get tempted and draw Tempt Cound: 2 Frodo Attack 3+ > Get tempted and draw; loot

The fun thing is that if Ben had let Gisela go to the yard after that Mortify, she would've been targetable by Dawnbreak Reclaimer, and also his Emeria if that hadn't worked for some reason

He also could have had Emeria active a long long time earlier - he showed everyone he has a Plains and then discarded it instead of letting Graham draw a card, everyone assuming it's worthless, when it was in fact the 7th one.

I noticed that too. I’m surprised they remembered the corner case rules on knick knacks and patty wacks but not the commander tower one. Oh well. Ever since a certain spine incident, I’ve taken to just calling these special, paper alchemy versions.

One of the "Rule Zero" rules I have seen, and like involving Meld cards like Gisela and Bruna is not necessarily making them the equiv of "Partner Commanders" but allowing the player to shuffle the non-Commander half back into their deck if the card gets exiled (or even put in the graveyard.) Otherwise it just kinda sucks if you can never use the Meld ability because half of that ability got removed from the game early or something.

Overall, Rules as written, the brisela combo can lead to lots of sad times for the brisela player :( But rule Zeroing can be very helpful and fun~

Fellow meld lover, hard disagree about Urza. It's my favorite meld and I built an entire commander deck around melding out the first Planeswalker! It usually melds, but rarely wins as everyone piles on to stop the artificer, have a blast each time I play it.

I have an Angel deck with Giada as the commander. It has a bunch of simular Angels. Not as heavy in the lifegain. Giada does ramp for Angel spells and makes those Angels bigger. So it can get out of hand quickly.

In the first Swedish translation of Bilbo ("Hompen eller En resa dit och tillbaksigen") from 1947 (First Tolkien translation really), Bilbo was not named Bilbo but rather Bimbo , this was thankfully reverted in later translations. But we could be saying Bimbo Baggins all the time, imagine
