We need a Davidic inspiration from the psalms to cry out to the Man of Sorrows, Jesus Christ who was acquainted with grief. This song does just that. It teaches us to address our own bleeding hearts and speak the assurance of love God’s love with empathy, realism, yearning and yet with hope.
