I love the people yelling "but giga not that big, this is so innacurate wah" my brother in christ Ark barely follows any paleological accuracies, these people are living on a floating metal construct in the vacuum of space with dinosaurs artifically made by ascended beings, they also made a shit ton of mythological creatures too. These creatures arent even really *our* dinosaurs Helena explains they're a subspecies, a remake of the original to live on the Arks and be able to help humanity fight the corruption.

@@borga6566 that's a fair argument, we have proof an animated series about dinosaurs can look serious with Primal. The designs may be minimalist but they convey a good amount of terror and look great in their world, the Ark series makes the Rex and Giga look too chubby and simple to be cool or imposing.

Tbh the AAS giga is actually much larger than in-game ASE/ASA giga because the in-game T-Dominum(Rex) is only really half the size of the In-game Giga the head is the same height as the chest of the Giga either the AAS rexes are tiny or the AAS giga is about the size of the Experimental Giga BOSS.

Fun fact if you put a T-Dominum and a Giga Furiosa and line em up side by side you'll notice that the T-Dominum is not tiny like the series depicted it's only about half the size, in-game T-Dominum's head is about the same height as the Giga's chest whereas the two rexes in the series barely pass the Giga's LEGS in height seriously they barely surpass the knees, so as i said it could be that the Rexes are about the size of a real Rex or the Giga is the size of the EXP Giga BOSS...

If we take average mass, Giga and Rex are around the same weight. Both being an average of 8.2 tons, with some sources claiming Giga being 8.317-8.4. Rex’s maximum was higher however, at a colossal 15 tons, but that individual would be next to impossible. Much like how a spinosaurus CAN be 20 tons, but it wouldn’t since it’d need the perfect conditions.

Because, you know, it gets boring when the T. Rex is the top carnivore. Actual palaeontology hurts. The Giganotosaurus was only longer than the T. Rex, it was otherwise shorter, and much skinnier.

@@darksideofyoutube7859 man that would be amazing. Yeah, Mei Yin had the demon king in the game lore, but that giga doesn’t seem to exist in the animated series (at least not yet). She also didn’t get her raptor in the series, they’ve changed around quite a bit. But since that is the case, nothing’s really stopping them from having a carchar (as long as they were able to make that decision early enough in the production process of the series to include it)

@@ohioan109 yeah i'm waiting for the game to lower its value and be more complete because it's a money throw, especially for consoles players who have mods only on this game and some of them aren't free, on pc you also have to pay but you can mod for free on ASE without having bugs
