I think that an alternate history in 1945 scenario is too early for the productions of these prototypes. If I can change it, I am not saying the scenario story is bad but I think D-Day or Operation Bagration failed after heavy German resistance resulted in a stalemate. The East Front continued in bloody struggle while the West are preparing for the next invasion backed up by prototype tanks. The East Front began too look like a more advanced WWI, with the 2 forces back & forthing over Poland & Ukraine. 1945 came by, most fronts are silent, licking their wounds & creating the prototypes. 1946-1948 was the WWI like period with the tanks used in the real war proving non-successful. Once the major powers completed their protoypes, the war again exploded into a massacre. The Nuke is completed but its use is feared for retaliation of the Germans own chemical weapon reminiscent of Nova 6 or nuclear fallout. So basically I am saying that the war should be more longer in this timeline. But your story is completely fine, just an opinion not forcing it or anything upon you. Keep up the good videos.

Thank you for being more accurate, btw some of these prototypes I never knew existed cause they were not actually used in WW2, up to the a couple prototypes, that's it. In fact, I thought that half were made up, lol.

Diplex, great video! This ratte tank could definitely be used to make some interesting scenarios! I would love to see a scenario where the allies launch a sabotage surprise attack against german forces during the night as they are repairing the ratte, but of course it would be escorted by tank support and the germans would have fortified the surrounding area to protect the tank. I could also see perhaps a video where the Ratte is repaired and continues its assault on the western front. The allies could have opportunities to attack fixed positions to try to encircle the Ratte or something as well, which would make for 2-3 videos on its own. Just some ideas, this tank definitely adds character to the German counter attack, but its importance and maintenance could also be the attack's downfall!

Since it never passed the drawing board, the only thing known is that it was built to carry twin 280mm guns, likely from either the _Westwall_ or a _Scarnhorst_ class battleship, and at least three _Flakvierling_ quad mounts. All other details are based on various designs drawn up during or after the project, and each differs from every other design in meaningful ways. The only constant feature is the naval rifles in a twin turret.

I don't even know some of these prototype tanks until I played WoT, Diplex. The only way I know about the name of the tanks is through Blitzkrieg games (not 3 though) and CoH but mostly Blitzkrieg 1 since that game is just so awesome.

And on the topic of understanding waves, in real life, troops were sent in in waves, were they not? Waves to weaken and eventually destroy the enemy's defenses while keeping casualties to a minimum as opposed to losing thousands of men in one single, massive wave only to get shelled. I don't get hwy people are so angry over it.

Vk was actually the term for prototype. The vk4502 was the one for the Königstiger and the Vk3601 was the prototype model for the Tiger.Vk stands for Versuchsfahrzeug which means test vehicle.

Diplex, I am always very surprised with you! Specifically, in the Prototype Base mission, although you managed to forget most of the tanks' names, you *could* somehow name *all of their* guns! This was amusing to me because my situation (watching the video) was *exactly* the opposite: I knew the names for the tanks, but couldn't for the life of me guess the name of the gun in, say, the Tiger II Porsche! I believe that with our powers combined, we could become an UNSTOPPABLE force of knowledge! ;) In all seriousness though, I thought of commenting on the base video, but decided against it. Everybody has their strengths and weaknesses, and some people know things that others don't! Keep the awesome videos coming no matter what people say! =^_^=

What might be a good idea is dropping several squads of paratroopers (with dropped armor) behind American lines and attempt to take out their field HQ, so that would most likely include taking out either Bradley or Patton in the process... This could cause general panic and open up an opportunity to make several precise strikes to take fuel dumps and destroy several American divisions.

I don't really care if you know the tank names or whatever. I just enjoy these sick battles you make. Keep making great videos man I love them!

There are plenty of french prototype tanks. In tanks plus mod, which works with Robz, they have AMX 50, Bat Chât 25t, and AMX 40.
