'GIGANTOR' watch!! Bulova 96B343

Meet Bulova's GIGANTOR (96B343)! 300m WR, Precisionist movement, 17.5mm height off the wrist...this watch is Barge-Large (chunky factor of 2.5!!!..relatively speaking: 2 is thick and 4 is thin). I've always wanted to try an extra large watch. This watch fits the bill. Then I came across some disappointing observations. What's the largest watch in your collection? Has Bulova gone off the deep end in their designs utilizing a great movement, the Precisionist?

I knew in the first 10 seconds this watch was too large. But I still found it interesting. I do want a Precisionist movement someday. Thanks!

Woah! This is a large, LARGE piece! I do like the movement in this but I find it hard to read at a glance... This seems top heavy but pretty. The color of the case is nice. If they made the hands full or thicker and a different color. Say orange hands. Man I want to like it but its just got so many cons and only really a few pro's. I think its a cool watch but not for me! Thanks for sharing bro! Hope you have a fantastic day!

I’d think the Hr/Min hands would’ve survived my ire if they were full white rather than the skeletonized version with white tips. Not enough contrast with an already busy dial. Have a great week Johan!

Boat anchor it certainly could be that. It’s surprising how I liked this design and wanted to wear a large watch sometimes. How often do you wear the Grand Diver?

@@Realidealgear Very rarely. I thought I would wear it more often, but it it’s very chunky; more so than a G Shock. It’s a shame. I love the color; it’s like a midnight blue.

Bracelet and case look quite (industrial) futuristic....but the face is too normal....got a lot of potential though 👍

dint have any issues sizing mine. want it somewhat loose for wrist swelling. the all silver sparkles in the sun. though the hands need to be a dift color to be legible in sunlight

I believe this watch was unfortunately in no-man’s-land. I’d take a link out and it was a little snug or too tight. I’d add a link and it was too loose to not quite right. Another micro adjust in the clasp would’ve solved it. Thanks for watching and commenting!
