Echoing what others have said, I also enjoy your vlog videos. Yes, those Times Square breakfast menu items looked pricey(I can’t remember ever having a $19.00 omelette). They gave you a really nice back line amp. I remember reading a review of the Matchless DC30 in Guitar Player magazine when that amp first came out(1993-ish?).

Just discovering these old tour videos. Agree with you about CA. I miss In-N-Out... and for me, my kids and grandkids. Other than that, I love my new home in TN. I lived in Apple Valley, worked for San Bernardino County Fire Dept before retiring this summer. Blessings RJ!

Hey, just thinking about all the adjustments for drums and guitars because of the travel, pressures, humidity, rain...temps... Got to be a nightmare tuning up. ....maybe not. Guitar looks a beautiful pink glow in the morning sunrise.

I think I've eaten at 90% of those exact restaurants. Life on the road is the same no matter what you do. How much extra press, etc do the singers have to do on those gigs?

Looks like the Fox News gig wasn't bad at all. I performed on a Sacramento CA morning show called Good Day Sacramento and you have to be at mouse volume and literally set up while they are live on air and sound check on the 2 minute commercial break. Just cross your fingers and pray they mixed the band well for the viewers.

I hear ya. It still beats playback, when you have to mimic to a pre-recorded track (aka Milli Vanilli). That's just soul sucking.

Everything is better than the 60s. Better venues, better perks, better bus. But, I think the BS is still the same. Different time zone, different bed every night, different diet every day, and then there's the pranking and getting along with the group. When you tour you're doing it for the group. The projects and life events you have are on the back burner until you get some free days. Then, the money isn't so good. Enjoy the ride and make lots of video. Someday you will wonder how you did it. Great videos.

I did that shit once: Philly gig -->Boston (Stapleton Airport) to LA gig--> Boston gig in three fucking days. It was BULLSHIT, bro. Most of the band fucking lost their minds that weekend. Our female background vocalist got in a fight with a fucking cab driver in Boston. Holy shit. The only cool thing: I sat next to Darryl Hole's auntie on the short commuter flight from Philly to Boston. That's Darryl Hall's real name before he changed it for show business. Keep up the good work, bro. Oh yeah...the commuter flight was delayed in Philly because some piece of shit passenger refused to check her fucking carry on bag. Outcome: she got off the plane after fucking sulking for 45 minutes. It was bullshit, bro. The band complained about it and we never did that again. IT WAS NOT WORTH IT.
