Gigha To Loch Spelve - no wind today.

An early departure from Drumyeon Bay, Gigha and we head north. We pass the islands of Jura and Scarba and the notorious Corryvreckan Sound.
After eight hours of motoring on another windless day we drop anchor in Loch Spelve and enjoy the peace and quiet of our beautiful surroundings.

Looks lovely.. Sea is really swirly with the whirpool..🫣 Yummy fresh mussels food of the gods ! cooked with white wine garlic and cream. 😚

We where gutted we couldn't go to Loch Spelve last year we really wanted to try the mussels, Hope the wind picks up you our lovely people

Hello @sailinggemini Thanks for commenting. Loch Spelve is a really beautiful place. We have not tried the mussels as Allyson is allergic to shellfish 🤢 The wind. Well, it has certainly been a strange season so far as the wind is concerned. Hopefully we'll see it start to settle soon 👍🤞
