I loooove Jaida and will never discredit her win. She deserved it 100% and when she popped that crown over her head in the finale lip-sync I was gagged. Love her. Gigi deserved to win too. Either winning would have been a slay, but Gigi is just so creative too. IDK if she would ever do AS but damn she should and could win. Her Madonna rusical number is stuck with me as one of the best. Maybe because she was also my fav era of Madonna but it slapped so hard. We love a confident queen!!!

From what I remember of the season, Gigi did really good early in the season because she played all her cards early and then fell off near the end, while Jaida was building up more near the end. The way I saw it, Jaida was on an incline while Gigi was on a decline and I'm happy Jaida got the crown

Honestly both Jaida and Gigi were jusy regurgitated versions of stuff we have seen a hundred times already. Crystal really was a breath of fresh air, and while I love Jaida I really thought Crystal was the obvious winner. I really do believe the general political climate of that summer is what led to Jaida's win. Even the finale project, Crystal did that batshit inventive music video and Jaida just...spun in a circle. I was gooped.

I love Gigi and she slayed for a good part of the season, but the rules are the rules for a reason, specially on such a bad pandemic - it's also a matter of respect to the whole situation. She doomed herself: at that point, it would be unfair to the other competitors if she won. I hope she learned her lesson, Willam was disqualified for less.

Even if she would have followed the rules, Jaida would have still taken the crown.

I am very conflicted by this season, I loved it and I hated it. And at the finale I thought Gigi was going to win, only to crown Jayda who is one of the most polished girls ever. It is just a very production-heavy season.

Well, I am glad that production made Gigi do it in her own home because it's not about who is willing to spend the most money on theatrics, it's about who deserves it with their DRAG! I don't want to discredit Gigi for what she brought the entire season, she is very creative. But there's something about Jaida that is just the clear winner of the season despite how much Crystal or Gigi were favored by Ru Paul. Anyway, I still can't believe that Sherry was able to make it the whole season without being eliminated. Honestly though, it worked out because they didn't want Sherry to have ANY airtime, and showing her elimination or showing her lipsyncing against someone would just ruin that because I really did feel like she was invisible the whole season how they never acknowledged her.

Im so saddened by the fact that nobody even like acknowledges Jaida as a winner. I went to the Christmas show several queens put together and everyone cheered for Trinity and Willam and even Lala when Monet couldnt make it. Jaida did a more soul full song and the audience made me feel uncomfortable to cheer like I wanted to and Jaida was giving her all and no one was responding. I’m so sad I was in the back that night I wish she could’ve seen my face. And she won because her at home shoot was a music video in a living room, she was embodying Ciera and she *killed* it. After hearing this tea it kind of makes sense because I remember watching the finale and being absolutely godsmacked that Gigi lost. Not because I wanted her to win.
