To objective his take on not taking the adjustments, I agree... but in order to be a good defensive team, you have to have players with a defensive mentality the players have to fit the coach.

People fail to realize it’s a combination of many things like that happened in the last 3 years for this team which includes losing multiple defensive players especially perimeter defenders like p.j Tucker, Wesley Matthew, Jrue, Grayson Allen, Donte divincenzo, Jae crowder been hurt, and firing there defensive minding coach to replace with them offensive minded players like dame who been mid this season and has a huge contract so they’re stuck with getting mid player Cameron Payne and robin lopez and having to play rookies or complete defensive liability like a.j green, Chris Livingston, Ty Ty Washington, and Andre Jackson jr(who’s been decent on defense for them) but it’s not that much of a difference maker when looking at how much defense they lost in the past 3 years especially from the perimeter, simply because the front office panicked.

Anyone should know the Celtics were the top favorites the moment they got Kristaps and Jrue (finally getting a true point guard that brings defensive skills) while the Bucks were clearly going to be better offensively (4th last season to 2nd this season) but bad defensively due to the reasons u mentioned. Yet they still fire the head coach 30-13, 2nd in East? Obviously, the reasons were personal.

The reason Gil and anyone that played the the eastern conference during lebrons tenure dont bring of the lack of competition is because if lebron gets knocked for stat padding In the weakest conference of all time then EVERYONES stats that played in the east takes a knock too. So they have to say he's the goat when in reality they all played a part in being weak competition. Meanwhile players like Dirk, Kobe, Duncan, steve Nash played in a nightmare of a conference where there were no days off.

Griffin might have not lost his job if he performed against the Pacers. The regular season series against the Pacers gave us a sample size of what a Griffin would be like in the PlayOffs. It was a 5-game series and the Pacers beat the Bucks 4 times out of the 5 and the 1 that the Bucks won, Giannis had to put 64pts in order to beat the Pacers
