why? the dont have double the damage, so they will lose everytime in balanced resources.

only hp is doubled, dmg isn't, armor is the same, the cost is x2 and they take x2 population. They can't really win vs mass enemy. Imo the price shouldn't be x2 it should be slightly less like x2 - 10%.
