Iskandar is the only one in two consecutive wars Golden Boy felt worthy of Ea. Also his last words to Rider "This world is my garden. I promise, its pleasures shall never bore you." were his way of saying they were as close to being friends as Gil would allow.

To be fair Iskander's Reality Marble is nothing to sneeze at but Gilgamesh has an Anti-WORLD Noble Phantasm. He lost the moment he summoned the army.

I wonder how the version of Gilgamesh who sits on the Throne of Heroes feels about all the Servant versions of him who were the bad guy when their memories return to him, given that he was a pretty good and caring king at the end of his life? I would love to see a story where the True Heroic Spirit of Gilgamesh shows up to say "stop summoning me as an Archer! I hate that version of myself"

Probably nothing, I think there is a huge misconception going on with Gilgamesh. Gilgamesh is a good leader just as how FGO show us, but he isn't exactly a good person on a moral lense overall. CCC and FSF Gilgamesh is summoned as Archer yet both titles shows us he is capable of showing the same charisma and "caring" he even as Archer. The difference is that he was a good leader FOR HIS PEOPLE, but in Zero nor Stay Night he never interacted with "his people" he interacted with nobodies that most of the time he didn't approve excepto some individuals that catches his attention. CCC and SF shows us that Archer Gil can return to being the same caring Gil he is portrayed in his Caster self, as long as is with people he favors, if not, he will be a prick. Caster Gil only focus on his aspect as a "king", his Archer self showing his whole persona, both the bad things and the good things.

The only bit of this speech that I don't absolutely adore, is when he shouts "Enuma ELIIIISH!" It just doesn't sound quite right, being stretched out like that. Everything else about this, is perfection.

Man the only thing that kinda bums me out is the fact that we never got to see how truly OP Alexanders NP is. Yeah they ran over the multi Hassan but cmon any other servant in that grail war (except for lancer maybe) could have done the same with relative ease. I would have loved to see how utterly hopeless it would have been for a more 1v1 oriented servant to fight the whole army. Because as we know some soldiers in there have better combat stats than Alexander himself. Shame.

Unfortunately, the English dub actors are typically forced to try and match the mouth movements. Just look at how much they had to change the UBW chant in the Deen adaptation of the Fate Route, with changes like "I am the flesh and bone of my sword" instead of just "I am the bone of my sword", and yet whenever Archers mouth wasn't actually on screen, the VA was able to say it normally
