Gillian Anderson’s performance was outstanding, haunting and utterly mesmerising from beginning to end! It was a joy to watch true stage art.

I beg you, please put "Streetcar" on DVD. This production means do much to me, it's the best production if Streetcar I've seen. I beg you, please, please, please, bring it to DVD.

I watched this several days ago here in LA. I was overwhelmed. This was absolutely OUTSTANDING. All performances, Production, Direction, Staging. Wow! WOW!!

Thank you, NT and Young Vic, for bringing this sublime production to our small screens, where none of the power of the original performances has been lost. Gillian Anderson's depiction of the pain of enduring a stifled life will live long in the memory. This is what I have been missing during 'lockdown'.

Watched this live last week, and have done scene work on it in first year, and did the Glass Menagerie in third year, and absolutely loved this production. Thought she absolutely nailed it

I saw it. AMC theatres broadcast it in a lot of theatres on its opening night. It was really good.

Gillian is one of the most important actresses of our time. I am from the South. I am uber-sensitive to that beautiful song that compliments and delivers the poetry which Tennessee Williams knew and wrote. That Southern accent is difficult.

Gillian Anderson’s southern accent was stretched. Great cast. .Viven Leigh was superb. Brandon was unforgettable. I loved this ensemble and I adore Gillian Anderson.

I'm from the south, and there are many forms of that accent. New Orleans and that state especially. I was wondering, probably cause I've seen a lot of her acting and it was different. Love the play.

between 2 and 11 she and her family lived in London. Then returned periodically. Now she's lived there for decades and says she comes by it naturally. Bi DIalectle

She's American, born in Chicsgo, but has lived in both countries. She has said that when she's playing an American or in the US, she can't speak with an English accent and vice versa. It's a weird trick her brain plays on her.

@@simbahunter8894yes, I know but her home now is Britain,and I've heard many Americans try a British accent and simply can't do one but Gillian does the best English accent I have heard and she sticks to it because she prefers the English accent to her American accent
