I think KG made a point with Stephen A. It’s usually the management that screws it up the following season after a team wins a chip. Take the 2008 Celtics for example. They lost James Posey to free agency. Didn’t retain Eddie House and Leon Powe. The 2010 Celtics had Tony Allen who Kobe said was the best defender he’s ever faced, but c’mon, Tony Allen was only 6’4. Not 6’8 like James Posey. Celtics lost some of their length by the time they had their rematch with the Lakers. We saw it again with the 2020 Lakers. They broke up that team immediately. Let go of Dwight, Rondo, McGee, and Caruso. Not that I believe they would’ve repeated in 2021 since AD was going down against Phoenix. But why make the drastic changes? Then the Lakers decided to let go of Malik Monk who thrived in Sacramento the following season. Then the Lakers lost Schröder and Lonnie Walker. They lost a little bit of their defensive feistiness by losing Schröder. Denver should’ve never let go of Bruce Brown and Jeff Green. But management wants to cut corners and then the roster gets a little worse and they’re never as good as the roster that won them a championship. I do believe it’s the end of dynasties. And you know what? I actually like it! Adam Silver said he always wanted to copy the NFL with their parity. It makes each new season more unpredictable. The last 5 champions failed to repeat and make it beyond the 2nd round after winning the chip the year prior…. 2020 Raptors (2nd round exit) 2021 Lakers (1st round exit) 2022 Bucks (2nd round exit) 2023 Warriors (2nd round exit) 2024 Nuggets (2nd round exit) I think this is good news for fans who roots for their teams in smaller markets. No more seeing Lakers or Celtics winning all the time. Each team is only built for ONE season. More one and done teams. Every team gets a chance to eat a slice of that championship pie. This series alone should show how great LeBron has been the past decade….really since his very first playoff run all the way until 2020. This man has carried multiple teams with subpar talent to the finals PLENTY OF TIMES. Jokic is great but let’s be real if Denver had won he’d been getting all the credit and praises but since he lost instead everyone is blaming his bench yet when LeBron was going to the finals year after year even with the second and third option was out he carried that load and took all the heat of how he couldn’t get it done. That was him getting heat in the NBA FINALS. Nobody else get that because it’s a team game but when it’s LeBron everybody on his neck. Joker is the best player in the nba at the moment but just let that sink in how long LeBron has been and he was proving it. He even proved me wrong plenty of times. It’s hard to make it to the nba finals let alone repeat winning it.

What makes it worse is they lost by 45 in the previous game and Wolves went on multiple 20-0 runs.

Some fluke injuries happen, and the Bucks made it to the finals. Even though everyone had just spent the entire year saying the Bucks need to trade Middleton, those same people thought the Bucks were a dynasty after one fluke ring.
