@coxval2635 this is complete CAP. Mark Jackson was fired because he constantly bickered with management and got to the point he was even banning the GM from coming to practices. He acted like he was a man of God but was cheating on his wife the whole time so came off as a hypocrite. He also held that franchise back and it’s no wonder when he was canned they went from first round flame out to the championship. Stop lying

I highly doubt this had anything to do with Monty as a person or his beliefs not meshing well with the team. Hell, the main player her had the most controversy with last season, Jaden Ivey, said Jesus himself was coming back to save us all in a press conference. This simply had to do with the fact Detroit got a new president and after many meetings, he didn't feel like Monty would help this group for the future. Pretty simple.

The argument of religion could be why Monte got fired? This seems crazy especially since he won the coach of the year in Phoenix and went to the finals...this seems crazy why they are talking about this as a possible reason why Monte got fired. Steve Blake is one of the biggest hardcore church going players, Steph Curry, Jrue Holiday, the champion winning coach Joe Mazzula, Al Horford, Jason Tatum and football and other sports all pray after a game so Religion is not the reason. This is crazy that this was brought up. Monty is a great coach and whoever gets him is lucky.

He saw a starter in Killian Hayes that no other team even saw as a 15th man on the bench. He mentally attacked Jaden Ivey who is a promising young player. That is what he has done with his recent teams. He picks 1 guy out to abuse. Ayton was his abuse victim in Phoenix before Ivey. You start Killian Hayes as a no hoper and start Ausar Thompson who shoots 18% from 3 and stick Cade with that burden when you already have a center that cannot shoot in Duren. He did the worst things possible to develop the best young players the Pistons had. It was probably the worst coaching job in the history of the NBA.

So, people asking questions about and expressing their feelings on religion in basketball is demonic? That's not at all how I interpreted this. Hell, Jennings even said his teammate Redd got him going to chapel before games and praying with him after games. He also suggested that maybe the man praying in the bathroom on the plane may have saved Kenyon and his whole team. It was a discussion. There wasn't anything demonic about it, in my opinion.

What people don't seem to "really" understand is we will all die one day...and then what? When people say others are pushing a religion on them, it's usually false. Nobody is holding a gun to your head to convert and even if they did, someone could say they converted but it wouldn't be real so it doesn't mean anything. They need God to give them a new heart with new desires but first they must truly repent and turn from their sin and turn to Jesus Christ alone.

He said, on game day, he's not playing all bench lineups anymore, a couple hours later he put in an all bench lineup. He then said, later on, he's going to only play the best players to help get wins and he's going to shorten the rotation. That same day he played 11 guys in the first quarter. He runs a high school level offense and a switch everything defense. He was absolutely part of the problem and he did a terrible job.
