Ginger Root often uses really fun bass arrangements. Live, it seems Cameron's usually at the keyboard, but I get the sense it's more of a technical thing, switching controllers and parameters and such. His songs, altogether, seem to convey that he at least wants the bassist to have a really good time. And in this one, there's a pick instead of the fingers. Extra fun. I love the song and the video. The bass part seems very challenging, and you played it so well! I just recently started learning to play bass, and of course fingers dominate in terms of instruction. So this is very helpful for opening things up and seeing how plucked bass can be applied, plus of course seeing up close how it's done. The bass and guitar have so much in common with each other, until you look at playing technique and then it's like, give me a lifeline!

Thank you for the appreciation. I have also played guitar before, but picking with bass is very difficult for me surprisingly. It might be the way I hold the pick or hold it too light.
