My mum and I had a Germain Shepherd, a female called "Foxie" a female she was the world to us, we also had a mixed breed dog called "Laika", who died of heart worm, even now we both miss them a lot, they are both in our heart's and will never be forgotten.

As a dog walker/sitter, over the years I’ve come across most breeds of dog and GSD is my absolute favourite. I’ve had the joy of owning 5 of them from puppies, as well as the heartache of caring for them through their old age and saying goodbye. The only reason I don’t have one now is because I’m too old to walk the miles I used to.

I was blessed to live on a golf course. My female Heidi loved the water. We had a large plastic kiddie pool that she would go nuts over. One day it was empty and she picked it up with her powerful jaws and brought it to me. A passing golfer said "Wow, that dog is hungry!" Meaning it was her feeding dish.😂

My family has a German Shepherd. The day we got him from a Walmart parking lot, he peed on my mom’s leg in excitement. German Shepherds are an amazing breed.

Thank you. Tieracate is extremely obese. That is awful for a large breed dog (any size actually). Many large breeds are notorious for hip problems. Being overweight just increases the problem and the pain. Not cute,not funny.

My late aunt at one stage had 8 GOD'S I was brought up with them and my niece and nephew were the safest kids in the village so say the least, I used to house sit while they went away , I used to take all 8 of them for walks in the fields and woods near by , even once at 1am in the morning they were restless so I took them with 8 GSD no one would mither you . They are great dogs

Back in the early '70s, Dad's last station was in West Germany. He got a Shepherd puppy and concocted a plan to bring it home and skip all the, as he saw it, quarantining nonsense. His workaround involved the Military Airlift Command and calling in on a lot of favors. My Dad's MOS was a mechanic, be it heavy or light, and it was through this via after-hour maintenance and repairs of fellow soldiers and in a few cases airmen. It was through these airmen that when my Dad was rotating home for discharge he managed to sneak his occasionally floppy-eared friend into the US, because as most saw it a dog is a dog is a dog, so where's the harm...? Buddy was such a great gigantic fuzzy friend.

0:58 my guy, I don't think that's snow... my guess is some sort of fertilizer or dried up and grinded beans or corn... at first I thought maybe it's sorghum but I think it would be a lot more powdery and fine... the consistency looks a lot like cassava or other grinded up root

To the owners of some of those GSDs: guys, your dogs are way too fat. Yes, they eat a lot but if they get this chonky it is not funny, especially for the dog. They get bone problems and heart problems, are less active and have bad fur. A GSD should look trim, fit and yet strong. If they get to massive they are propably to fat and should go on a diet to cut some weight. DO yourself and especially the dog the favour.
