I like to keep a list of pieces I’m looking for. Then I choose one item that I hone in on. Like I collect setting hens. When I go in a thrift or antique shop I’m looking for a setting hen that is out of the ordinary. The last few I’ve collected are quite exquisite.

Though we're a big metropolitan city, there aren't many places for these quaint beautiful antique malls. Recently I visited fort Myers and just was stunned at the wonderful thrift shops and antique shops they had there. There was an Antique Mall about an hour from us, we use to go, but I had to go in each Booth. I love an item when I see it …LOL! Yes even the tools ! Those wood levels ! Thank you for taking us through Hog Creek. So many goodies in all the booths. I have to tell you I honestly loved your two booths the best because they were visually appealing and were not over stuffed/crowded with items. I don’t like it when you have to dig or move things to get to something you want to look at. Everything was displayed beautifully!

I walk into a booth area if it's visually appealing, isn't overwhelming and then I look for what catches my eye or a piece for a collection.

What attracts me and makes me walk into a booth is bright happy colors, especially turquoise and cobalt blue. And any booth with kitchen-y bits and glass!

I saw one of Mom and Dad's glass yellow bowl with black decoration. That's over 50 years old. Wow....

I like a booth that is a combination of new and old.....and not cluttered.

Love these videos, so many of the items remind me of family no longer with us. Whether it’s something they collected or some other little treasures. Frequently it’s my curiosity that draws me in, trying to fathom what something was used for. I love the trips down memory lane, even if they may not be my memories 😂 Vintage linens and old embroidery always pique my interest.

I love going into peddlers malls or antique malls. I love the old wooden pieces. But I go through all of the booths because my better half doesn’t like me to go through them all. LoL

You know what attracts me to a booth,,,a collection piece, a memory piece from childhood. Woodland pieces like, thang from Burch bark, gourds. Rusty & bright color thangs for patio or gardens,,,,loves 🤗

I loved your tour. I live in a town in Ohio and we have an antique mall here. I love going in there and just walking around and looking at everything. I never walk out empty handed.

I loved that hog Creek pig. Lol loved your booth! Its not cluttered like others. Sometimes when they have so much jammed in the displays you really don't see any of it ya know? Cause it just disappears into the background. Anyway. Loved it!!

So many memories! I like to look and see what things I have or had are selling for. I don't really collect things anymore. I have some antiques that were my grandmothers, and lol some of mine.

Thank you for the tours. I have been to many antique stores but I especially like to check out ones when we travel. Often times you see items that are not specific to our own area. Perhaps one day we'll be able to stop in your area. Your booths are beautiful.

Thank you for the tour! Loved it! The inspiration for me (there were several, but one I plan to use 🙏🏻) was your “wire” metal laundry hamper with the canvas liner. I picked a similar laundry cart from someone’s garbage and it’s been sitting in my stash, but now I’m going to make a canvas sack for it that can be pulled out when it gets full of the dirty clothes! I live in a tiny town (600 people!) and the closest shopping for anything is an hour away. 🙄 There’s a couple of things that attract me to a booth. First, and probably the most important, is the look. As in, neatness, cleanliness, the way it’s set up. Most booths put so much stuff in them, just wherever there’s an empty spot, and it’s hard to look at. There were a couple of booths in this video that their things were so dusty! Like they haven’t been there to check out their booth since putting it all in there! Nope… I just keep moving on to the next booth. Gotta be visually appealing too! 👍🏻 And of course, seeing stuff I like and catches my eyes 👀 brings me to a booth. There were several booths I saw that I liked but the 2 that really stuck out to me were, “Wreaths, signs, and Moore” and (I’m not just saying this cause I’m talking to you) your booths. You check each of my boxes that attracts me to a booth! Awesome job on your booths!! 👏🏻I’d love to check out that mall some day! Anyways, thanks again for taking us shopping with y’all!! Love watching these mall trips. I always see some of the items I have inherited over the years. I just picked up one of the huge spools that I saw. I couldn't tell what price it had on it, but I think I paid 5.00.

I'm new to your channel and wish I'd seen this antique mall before I'd moved from Michigan! Oh I'll be back to shop for sure but I love all the wonderful thrift stores and antique malls in the state.

It was so good to see this place. For several years both my daughter and I each had large double booths. It was a great deal of work to find the best and keep things straight and eye catching. We both did well there.

I go into a booth if I see certain colors, or baskets, or textiles, or crocks, or little creamers, or restaurant ware, or a clever display, or anything wood. Also if I see something my grandparents had or my parents. It is fun to see those things again.

Love the antique malls! Would love to buy some of those goodies!

To me pre-owned things, old things, are real, like the velveteen rabbit, I am attracted to crockery, green depression glass, old kitchen gadgets, anything roosters, old sewing machines, old milk bottles, old dolls. I am so excited. I get to come to your area and see your booths and Hog Creek! I started watching your channel when the Covid lockdown started. We are attending my family reunion in Ohio this summer. The styles change, but the function stays. I have a set of 2 mixing bowls that are the beige with blue and pink stipes. I have had them since 1975. I will never get rid of them. Also the glass frogs for flower arranging I have 2 that belonged to my grandmother. These bring fond memories! Thanks for sharing.
