@@JIML4EVA georgia, hunter, marcus, max... everyone does everything for her. but what does everyone get? georgia didn't deserve yelling, hunter didn't deserve cheating, marcus didn't deserve getting hurt, max didn't deserve treating like a fool. i know georgia and marcus aren't innocent but like i said, didnt deserve. she cares about herself.. all. the. time. (especially the scene marcus says i love you, even i got heartbroken.)

(and we see that max is a typical teen in every situation) but ginny had her first and first kiss w her bestie's brother, she kept acting like everything is normal. she should've told max about her crush.

I don’t like the portrayal of her relationship with Hunter, not because he didn’t treat her right but normalising the idea of cheating on someone is not okay. Hunter should of had a bigger melt down in my opinion, him just walking out the school didn’t cut it. Ginny, knew she didn’t like him, from the beginning, peer pressure really got to her. If she thought she was going to cheat on him, she should of broke it off from him. Instead she used him to get popular, to validate herself and that’s not okay. Especially, when she knows first hand what it means to have no friends and no social life

@@yusraeditss7759 I don’t think she knew she was going to cheat. I think she really did like hunter but their wasn’t enough chemistry on her side of the relationship for it to work. She wanted to be with hunter because he is good for her but she wanted Marcus because that is what she wanted without knowing that is what she wanted. I don’t know if that makes sense but that is how I see it.

Not sure how old you are but as a 20something mom with some experience, i just wanna say that at that age it's almost IMPOSSIBLE to differentiate between genuine feelings and the feelings you feel pressed onto you by society. A really sweet guy giving you attention at 15/16 feels magical! It gives you a rush you've yet to truly feel, although, it's not always chemistry or even a genuine crush. Society tells us as girls that if a guy is sweet to you than you HAVE to give him a chance. Sometimes that spark just isnt there, but when you're so young and inexperienced you aren't able to understand that the spark is missing bc you have nothing to compare it to. Which is Marcus for Ginny. He's a guy who isn't trying to buy her affections (like Hunter did many times), he's just genuine and honest with her, and the chemistry is there in every moment together. Sometimes when you're that young it takes something drastic like her deciding to cheat on Hunter with Marcus to finally force her to make a decision. Life is messy. Choices are messy. But expecting people to never fuck up, to never hurt someone else, purposely or not, is unrealistic. Cheating happens, changing your mind happens, shit happens. Ginny is only 16 years old with a messed up family life. She watched her mom cheat on her bf with her dad. Shell learn from what she did to Hunter but she isn't some horrible person who deserves to be miserable because she messed up. There's studies in psychology about how it's human nature to test the boundaries in relationships during your teenage years. It's normal to lie, to cheat, to steal. It's normal to mess up in some kind of way, in order to learn and grow from it. Anyway, thanks for coming to my TED Talk, lol😅

I don't know. She was a side character, we really didn't get to know her as much apart from being Marcus's girlfriend. So taking that in consideration, no. If we get to know her a bit more in season 2 then I am willing to reconsider. What about you?

Yeah that’s true, she was but I just feel like at times she was a little possessive with Marcus or is that just me. But that’s pretty much the only reason why I didn’t like her as much. That might always be because every scene was with her and Marcus besides the ones with Ginny.
