wow, his voice is still so wonderfull. I saw him live at the Marquee twice. Our friends were in a band and performed his music, most people had never heard of him but they brought his music alive for people, when the singer died in a car crash we played Ginos music at the funeral, i love his music.

I have a strong feeling that I was conceived when this song came out in 78.

I'm not 'big' on his moustache but then again as SRV once said (likely more than once bunny) "express yourself!' There's nothing better, well perhaps a couple of things, than listening to GV on vinyl on a good system - great voice, great backing musicians, great song writing and orchestrations, and a big part of my past (and present.) 'People Gotta Stop' will be played at our BDSS Reunion on July 2, 2022 for sure!
