nerdistry LOL, I agree 100% ... *especially* Swoosie Kurtz (Mr. Cole's attorney) during the "Our case is simply this" scene from 2:05 to 2:51 . The whole scene is funny....but the part at 2:37 where he holds his mouth open with his fingers and says "I can't say nothing that isn't true today" totally kills me and the fact that she was standing face to face with one of the funniest actors to ever exist and being able to keep a straight face....she was/is amazing !! :-)

to be fair he has a good point by saying to the homeless man that he won't give him change because he thinks he will buy booze with it. it is actually wiser to ask if someone needs food, or offer to purchase them something than to just give them money because you may just be enabling an addict as opposed to actually helping them

The funny things about the movie is you can't lie doesn't mean you have to tell the truth, you can choose to keep quiet. And anything you said can't be a lie when you don't know the truth. For example, if he holding a pen behind his back n don't know what the color is, he can lie about the color of it. Because in this case, that's not a lie, it a prediction. And that's the way you can out smart the system.

Alexis Gismo I'd say he WAS telling the truth. The point of Greta's story was one thing, but Carrey showed what an asshole his lawyer persona is and focused on how much more skilled he'd be as a lawyer and get more for the burglar, when the whole point of the story was, that because of lawyers like him the bad guys are winning. So yeah... he didn't get the question.
