"Teleports behind you" uses steam to rocket Giovanni into the air so that he lands right behind his opponent (He could only go halfway carrying Molly). Giovanni has a tendency to give each of his techniques a misleading name that makes them seem more impressive and/or dangerous than they really are. That's why he named his soup ball attack lava grenade and his rocketing technique teleportation. Aside from matching his dramatic personality this also gives him a strategic advantage on some level. People who don't figure out his epithet immediately will have a harder time understanding his abilities when he calls out those kinds of names.

I think the bears springing to life was Giovanni's fear of betrayal.

Oh my goodness your reaction to seeing Giovanni bonding with Molly is so sweet. It feels like looking in a mirror because I had like the exact same reaction when I saw this episode for the first time, found family is a trope I can never get enough of. Also I would love to see Giovanni’s reaction to finding out that Ben almost got the nickname kidpuncher though I like to think he just got caught up in the hype of the heist and wouldn't have actually hurt her. i think the bears were Giovanni's fear, because of how close he is to his minions he's probably afraid of them being turned on him since he would be forced to fight them

Molly is even more tragic when you remember it's not a twelve year old working for two years, she was 10 when she started and is twelve now. like can you even imagine losing your mom at 10 and being more put together in grief than your family and having to work to keep things together? Poor Molly :(

Giovanni is just super jumping using the steam as a boost, but "Teleports behind you" is basically his catch phrase. I think the implication is that the steam-jump trick is how he did the "teleports behind you" thing the first 2 times in episode 1, but since he was carrying Molly this time, he could only go half the distance, and travelled slower, hence why Sylvie could actually visually track their movement, and why Giovanni said "Only half way but that's still pretty good."

There's a theory about this show that actually made the fire scene more impactful once I went back and watched it. Some people believe Molly's mom died in a fire, which would explain Molly's fear of it. She mentioned that her sister has a summoning quirk and she'd have to dumb it down to nothing "before it destroyed the store" so it's a possibility her sister caused a fire on accident

From this point Molly is now know as teddy bear child

So as a crafter knitting and sewing are VERY DIFFERENT. Sewing is connecting 2 things with thread using a needle to puncture. Knitting and crochet are a process that create fabric instead of connecting fabric and are more closely related to weaving than sewing. Knitting and crochet do fall under the category of "needlework" because the tools used in both processes are used to puncture the created fabric to create new rows.

Just finished this show and wanna say I wanna give you and all these characters so far besides dad big squishy hugs K. Also I wanna cry for Molly honestly right now with her statements I'm close to tears Smeg. Also I believe in reincarnation plus the multi verse so in some instance anyone down for adopting Molly as some large family unit(not necessary if ain't your thing) while beating the ever loving stuffing out of her "Dad" seriously feel wrong using that word for that guy.

For Molly's sister it totally a coping mechanism and escapism from both the guilt she feels about worrying she started the fire and her neglecting/ignoring Molly while it has been claimed that their dad has always been like this and him and the mom balanced each other out. If the dad was the one to die the mom would just be messed up as the dad but would avoid the situation by throwing herself into work instead and just like the dad seems to prefer Molly's sister at the expense of Molly the mom would do the opposite.

If im allowed to suggest things here, could you possibly react to "bobby yeah" or "extinction party"? Bobby yeah is a more disturbing clay animation and honestly i cant make out the plot at all, but its freaky and im curious as to what your reaction would be. I do want to warn you though its a bit gory and disturbing- Extinction party is odd and hard to understand the actual meaning of it, but it doesnt have any gore or disturbing content, its just weird. Its an animation with a really unique style and really unique characters, im pretty sure youll be interested- Just some ideas if possible! ^^
