Came back here after searching about Manu. Man, it's exciting hving a FO and coaches who has confidence to develop player. A 3rd for 4th is kinda expensive. But I'm glad mr Holmes pulled the trigger. Good luck on your NFL journey Manu.

A Pitt Meadows boy ayyyyy, from a local perspective, Pitt Meadows is a small town vibe on the Outskirts of Vancouver, sandwiched between Maple Ridge and Coquitlam, people with money ain't choosing to live there, but it's filled to the brim with our most important people, the trades, love to see a kid from a hard working blue collar family make it big time, plus as far as I know scouts never really looked much at the athletic freaks coming outta Vancouver, I guess Bedard just got some respect on the world stage for the young BC athletes, it's been too long since we've had a Steve Nash level superstar

His hand placement is terrible and he attaches and relies on his strength to win. Huge and good movement but he needs to improve balance and hands or he’ll be useless at the next level. Wanted Suamataia over Rakestraw so I still like the pick. Go lions!

First of all, I like the player. He's a giant, with great physique and high potential, but I don't understand why he had to be taken out so early, especially since he was undrafted according to consensus. In spite of this, we sacrificed an additional pick next year for the trade-up. So, I understand the need for an OT but taking him in the 6th or 7th round would have been more realistic, in my opinion. He's like Brodrick Martin last year. I like both picks, but they seem early to me. In any case, I trust in Holmes and the staff. Let's go Lions!!!

Thinking the same. Giving up a 3rd rounder next year? Makes little sense. If this guy ends up being a stud I'll eat my words, but this seems like a reach. Glad we have him, don't get me wrong, but seems like he would have been there in the 5th round or later.

Guys with his size/measurables and his traits are unique and if he has the mental makeup the rest can be taught because he’s is an insane athlete at 6’8 350 lbs running under a 5 sec 40 and having a 33 inch vertical. Thats crazy.
