Marty Black That’s a question mark. In English we use it to designate a sentence as interrogative, meaning a request for information. I learned about punctuation in the first grade I think. Mind you, I can’t remember what the hell I meant by “Are you really extra?” Maybe somebody had a comment or user name which said “I am extra” or something similar.
