It just sucks, because it was proven that Jenny could tame her sister. She never got a chance and it makes that sad, but I understand the reason behind killing her

I enjoyed this movie. I wouldn't call it a masterpiece, but I'm glad I saw it. Loved the werewolf design and the ending was so well-acted, though.

The ending to film is actually left to the viewers imagination. In the end while Liv is in Tala’s room, she places the silver bullet on the nightstand while looking at Tala’s photo, but the camera view faces the window overlooking the mountains outside the town. Plus, when Liv held her gun to Tala’s head, there wasn’t a gunshot sound when the screen cut to black before the last scene started. So, it’s left to the viewer’s imagination if Liv mercy killed Tala, or secretly released her out into the wilderness somewhere since she probably was unable or unwilling to kill her daughter. I like that ending better, because it’s unknown what happened to Tala.

For those want to know the more mythical story of this werewolf plague; it's actually Fey Magic...yes, literally Other Sorceries. While werebeasts do come in different forms, this one being in Ireland? The daughter and other people were sadly trapped in that fate as the nefarious Pixie who casted the spell on the original colonists from France didn't know much about Fey customs, much less that evil Faries outpopulated their good-kind and were on the verge of winning a genuine genocide of their Kingdom just to do some stupid ritual?! Plus the cure, the Pixie can easily reverse it with words and vegetables, but was a colossal prick to practically anyone, including the French colonists who killed him in retaliation for giving them that curse! With no way to reverse it, mercy is the only solution to save the person trapped.

I'll have to check this out ...I love werewolf / wolf movies and have anyone noticed the supply of making movies that happen to do with werewolves has dramatically lessened to me the horror movie base has dropped a lot compared to in the 80s.n 90sand wonder why nobody has spoken up until now

Honestly it was a good plot,but a shitty ending,because Tala's sister actually managed to tame her sister,rather than have to kill her,and her own mother ends up being the one to kill her,and she didn't even need to do that, because she could've housed her,like a regular dog,and found her a boyfriend,who would willingly turn, so that she wouldn't be alone for the rest of her life.

If anyone off you want to see werewolf series its wolfblood thats about a bunch off kids going to school that can turn into wolfs and are just trying to keep the secret hidden and they are born that way not bitten. theres teen wolf that have more off a werwwolf look and its after being bitten they also goes to school and have to control themself around people. and theres also the serie bitten about a women thats the only female wolf after her exboyfriend bite her and turn into a wolf every fullmoon or by will other times and its a pack house too.
