I don’t think she was judging. I feel like she was talking about let’s say, the stereotype of the attractive popular girl, hanging out with the stereotypes of the unattractive girls the rest of the school perceive as losers. If we’re being honest, I think everyone would find it... unusual. It’s just the truth. That’s why I don’t think she was judging people’s appearance, but just stating that there’s a certain level of attractiveness in society that everybody would like to reach (everybody wants to look their best at a party, a wedding, a job interview, etc) and if you truly love your friends, you wouldn’t let them look like what people will perceive as “tree monsters” while yourself in the middle is looking like Beyonce on the red carpet. We ended up at the same club one night and he talked to me for like 30 seconds and said “well I can’t stay with you because I left my friends for you on Thursday (the night mentioned).” I said “you don’t have to leave them I just wanted to say hi and maybe we could leave together. Needless to say we didn’t leave together and THAT was the last time we spoke. Thats what I get for fulfilling a mans fantasy of sleeping with an American 👍🏻
