I've had insence burned in my house before and to be honest, I don't really like it and I'm not even Asian. I'm not allergic to it, but it does make my eyes water so I don't like to be around it. But I know it's a part of a lot of Asian culture and I respect that 100 million percent!!!! 😊 I'm very proud of my culture but as far as I know, I'm a combination of 5 different cultures. i swear, celebrating new year w family right after you celebrated christmas w your family, aunts, uncles and cousins feels so great and refreshing. I can honestly relate to her though. It’s been suggested to me numerous times that I should get an Asian gf/wife, but Asian culture and aesthetic has never appealed to me, and I don’t want to marry into a culture that’s too different. I don’t see why the daughter should be forced to like Asian culture if it’s really not her taste.

Thanks for saying this. We don't choose our biological race, and an individual person has the right to dislike certain aspects of the culture associated with their race or background. Yes, the situation of a foster child being sent to home after home is tragic, but there are more important factors that make it so, such as the child not having a stable environment to grow and develop as a person. The child "not getting to know their culture" is secondary.

@@deezee2299 When I was in elementary school, my mom would often make me wear Buffalo Bills stuff even though we live in southern Maryland. None of the other kids in my school liked the Bills, and it would result in me kinda being teased for it. I think it's part of the reason I never developed any interest in sports. Don't see why I was obligated to like that team just because it was the one my mom grew up liking.
