I agree. Most women would die for a kitchen remodel. That's much better than a trip to Italy and probably costs more also. This girl was ridiculous not thinking that was a good thing.

His 'gesture' showed that he saw her as merely a cook, and maid. MEN need to get it through their thick skulls that MEN need to make an effort, and make truly thoughtful gestures, that require effort, and are personal to the recipient. I'm so sorry your going through this.. no one deserves that kind of pain at all, but I've been through the exact same thing with my first love and it's terrible i know.. so the best thing I can say is focus on yourself and on bettering your life, like now you have a chance to be able to reach your goals and achievements you've always wanted.
