So, I sort of did this with my boyfriend. But not under anesthesia. It was at my best friend’s birthday party. He is her brother and was home on leave from the Marines at the time. I’d had a little too much to drink and kept telling him how handsome he was that he needed to marry me so we could have lots of babies. He was very polite, patient and sweet like the nurse in the video and made sure I got home ok that night. A few years later when he came home from the Marines for good he asked me out and we’ve been together ever since.

I once had an epileptic seizure after I took a "Culturology" exam at university. I was taken to the hospital quite quickly, and while I was recovering, the neurologist asked me some formal stuff like name, birthdate etc. I gave the grade book to her several times and said, “You’ve already graded me, I passed exam why keep asking me again?” She smiled almost exactly like this nurse.

When I had surgery 5 years ago, I was goofy from the meds before surgery. My daughter who is a nurse, videoed me and I guess I was quite talkative. I still haven't seen them yet. That girl was so adorable and he was so kind to go along with her without agreeing with her. He's a great nurse. We need more like him. I hope she enjoyed seeing herself and did not get embarrassed. 6 years ago around may, a guy complimented my shoes in an elevator. he looked so genuine about it and it really made my day.. my months even since after that i.. i kinda... shamelessly waiting for him to come by whenever i ride the same lift to see my other new shoes. i guess thats my one compliment for the rest of my life. still happy about it tho since the guy's compliment made me felt really good about myself.

Something very similar happened to me and a female friend of ours. She drank some alcohol at a party and could not recognize any of her friends. We were a group of 5. We called a brother of hers, and decided not to bring her to her parents house in that state, but have her sleep at a friend's house for the night. She would not trust our company in the car and would try to escape and run away. Once at a friend's house she'd been many times to, she could not recognize the place or friends and was worried where she was with strangers and would start running towards random doors. We called hospital to ask for advice, they told us to just calm her down, she would sleep it over. A female friend of her tried to calm her down, but no luck. I'm male. I tried to calm her down, by holding her hand as in this video, squeezing it and gentle caresses. Nobody taught me the technique, it came spontaneously as the right thing to do. And she reacted very similar as in this video. She calmed down immediately and had a smile of joy, but she also started asking me if we were in love, if I loved her, if she could have a hug or a kiss and not just hand in hand. Then she started calling me with his boyfriend name. I kept on holding her hand, talking calmly, and finally she got asleep, holding tight to my hand, which she brought closer to herself and fell asleep onto it. I waited some more minutes to remove my hand without waking her up. She was ok the next day, but could remember absolutely nothing of the night before.
