I tasted appam and it was very tasty. This is a perfect place for the people who want to chill while having some snacks. The address is Race course ring road, Nr. Airport road, opp. GST Bhavan building, Rajkot.

This is called Kuli Paniyaram in Tamil Nadu and Unni Appam in Kerala

Great for promoting the South Indian dish at the West coast. However this dish is called as "Kuli Paniyaram" in South India. Appam is entirely a different dish and with a different process.

Appam is something like dosa. Fermented rice flour with yeast and coconut or milk and fir Gujarat can make a vegetable stew

Isko Appam nahi kehte. Tamil Nadu me isko Paniyaram bolte hain aur Karnataka me Paddu kehte hain aur Andhra me Gunta Panganalu bolte hain. Thhoda research bhi kar liye karo yar. Appam is something else. So stop calling it Appam and also tell the hardworking lady.

Hatsoff to this hardworking girl😊..but sorry to say that,this is not Appam..I am from Kerala ..in Kerala there are different types of Appam but this is not Appam..we make unniappam,paal appam, kinnan appam..and so on...pls check.

This is not Appam. It's called Paniyaram in Tamilnadu. This dish is also eaten in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and Maharashtra. The Appam is originally from Kerala state. Alternative names are Paniyaram, Ponganalu, Kuzi, Paniyaram and Appe. I am just correcting you. Thanks

Best wishes to her and food looking great. Only complaint is how anyone can easily setup stalls on a main road which causes difficulty to public and how Govt sanctions it.. Wish there would be a place setup for street vendors otherwise all good.

I think she learnt this receipe from Tamil people or her mother or any of her relative may be from Tamil Nadu. It's not "Appam" it should be pronounced as "AAPPAM"

This is Kuli aapam (Koo-Lee Aa-Pum). There's Sweet one & Spicy/Hot/Just Salty Types. Its Common to East & West Cost of South. I don't think its Origin is Sri Lanka as its very Widespread among KL(Kerala), TN(Thamil Naadu), KA( Karnataka) & Andhra(Both Upper & Southern) Aapam is same kind but in single deep Bowl. Its served with Spicy yet Liquid Consistent Gravy. Thanks for Modi Gujarat!.

I am really sorry to say...it is directly on the road..it is dangerous for the seller and the customers..no it should not be accepted..she should find some other place.. btw they are not appam..
