It would have been so much better if this video had the mom giving her daughter tips on dealing with people picking on her and held firm to her rule of not wearing makeup until she is older. Bullying is a major problem with young people today and they need help with learning how to not let other people's words, actions or wrong opinions of them matter.

People need to understand that dark circles can occur due to genetics and sometimes they are just little pigmented skin and it's normal and i didn't know people shame dark circles this badly.... Even in college i get to hear that i have dark circles but it's my complexion which makes them look even darker 🥲 but still I'm okay with it.... I wear makeup occasionally and i don't mind showing em cause they are a part of my face ❤️

As someone with dark circles, acne and light colored eye brows. I really love this video and the message in it. When I was younger I wasn't allowed to wear makeup but now, I wear it for special occasions or when the dark circles under my eyes are bad. During my periods is when my acne is bad. And when I saw the video where the girl was shamed for her acne. I was remembering that my frenemy pointed out my acne to me and it was the worst day of my life. I was never made fun of for my dark circles but people thought that I was ugly without makeup but luckily last year and this year people have said that I look beautiful. What I think people should realize is that it's not what's on the outside that matters. It's what's on the inside and Dhar Mann, I love your videos. You did a good job on this video. Thank you.

As a person who has dark under eyes this video was relatable. I never ever really got bullied, but some people would say some really wrong things about my under eyes, making me go home crying in the mirror. I relate to this so much, I have dark circles that honestly make me look dead, and my sister is teaching me how to do makeup and when I do, I feel so confident and pretty

As someone who lives in Australia, make-up is not allowed in most schools. I think Dhar Mann should've approached this situation in a different matter. Although I get the message, most kids in school are not allowed makeup, however some kids do wear it because they feel the need to. Edit: For those saying that 'oh i live in Australia and we can wear make-up' sure go for it but I should have specified most PRIVATE schools.

Agreed! It’s just not a good lesson overall to teach kids to cover up their problems with makeup. Dark circles are beautiful and he definitely could’ve approached the topic better

This is something which is very culturally driven as to how a person with dark circles is seen within that culture. I grew up with very dark circles, which always made me look sick from a medical perspective. I was never bullied, but the other kids and adults noticed, and it influenced how they saw me. I still battle this issue as an older adult. So this video correctly depicts the battles which some of us have had. I wish that there would have been someone to help me with makeup that actually worked during my earlier years.

Honestly looks never matter, and looking beautiful from the outside NEVER matters, what matters is how beautiful u r from the inside…there is a friend of mine who had gotten cancer and had to get bald…many people made fun of her but I always supported her no matter what, no one should be ever ashamed of other peoples looks cuz there can be personal reasons behind it…thank you Dhar mann for this video, I shared it with my friend and it really motivated her to be strong!
