Honestly I kind of am with Trisha on this one. First of all, recording a personal argument is not a cool thing to do. Second of all, David and Zane were both on Jason’s side and didn’t even try to understand where She came from. Third of all, if my boyfriend was texting I miss you to other girls I would feel kind of hurt as Well, especially since he said he didn’t talk to her anymore. Trish did overreact and she’s a bit hypocritical but I do really understand where she’s coming from.

Around 14:00 when they start arguing... Child, I'm ready for this relationship to end. Jason is a grown man dealing with teenage drama. This can wear him down if it gets out of hand.

Validate her feelings instead of telling her, she is wrong for feeling that way. Even if you think she is blowing it out of proportion. Just pull her in, give her a kiss on the forehead and say " I can understand why you are feeling upset. I love you and I would never do something on purpose to hurt you" then later when you aren't in front of your friends or the public. Tell her your side of things. I didn't see Trish as just making a big deal out of nothing. We all have our baggage we bring to the table. And she has had a lot of pain in the past. And seeing the DM on your phone was like reopening an old wound that has never really healed. This was a really big deal to her. I think that is obvious to everyone. Instead of telling her she shouldn't be upset ask the questions of why she is upset. Deal with the "why" deep down and help her heal and validate the feeling. If you do that she will start to feel truly safe with you and the emotional roller coaster will start to subside. Also, the fastest way to get someone to start going batshit crazy is to tell them to "calm down" or "you're are freaking out over nothing." The way Trish acted was completely normal for someone to act when they are hurt and haven't been given the tools how to address it in a healthy way. I would 100% recommend Keep Your Love On, by Danny Silk. It is an amazing short book. Just get it read it. It will do yall good. I don't know if you or Trish will read this but this random internet person is sending you love. And I truly wish​ the best for you both.

it's kinda sad that Trisha *constantly* being jealous of *any* woman Jason talks to (regardless of time frame even) is realistically going to be what drives him away. I've had a similar experience. Sometimes falling in love can make people scared to lose the person they love. If you've been wronged in the past it can make you see things that aren't real.
